Move Successful - Here's A Story

Hey everyone. Here's the short version:

The move

Comments

Bloody hell, what an awful time you've all had. Congratulations on completing your purchase. You will look back on this time, in around 6-12 months, and laugh (maybe). Best wishes.

What a tale, its 1:30 am, but I'm beyond happy for you guys!

That story was absolutely worth a moon. It's so silly that the banks were dicking you around about income when the mortgage ended up being less than your rent had been.

I was reading this in my emails and it timed out before i could get to Tim Hortons. Mad respect to all involved, well except for New-Girl, Nightclub-Man, and goddamnit that conveyor-belt-using dumbass. I'm trying to weigh out who the MVP was, I think the cat edges it out barely. I look forward to future videos and streams.

I'm stressed out and anxious just by reading this story, I can't even imagine going through all this stuff myself. Congratulations that you've made, you and Lili are super strong. Thank you for sharing this story. All the best in the new place and looking forward to your next videos.

You probably treat your patrons better than any other patreon user does, with posts as detailed and honest as this. You deserve your fans and your house. Thank you.

Joe; I feel like I have gotten to know you and your family on a different, more personal level. Thanks for the well-written and interesting post. It really sounds like a nightmare and even though I knew it worked out, it was still a nerve-wrecking read. Hard to imagine what you guys have gone through. Huge congratulations on making the right and in my opinion smart choice! What a feeling, you guys are home-owners! Thanks a lot for sharing this. I know that as patrons, we have a weird relationship where you make content for us and we pay you for it, but this post especially made me realise how much is dependant on us. I for one am glad to be supporting you guys. Looking forward to future videos and once again congrats!

Just one moon? Not even multiple? Heresy! That was quite the adventure you managed there. Glad it worked out now and hope it will continue to do in the future!

That was a nice read.

I didn't expect this too be as entertaining a read as it was. Glad you're settled now and hopefully things get easier from here on out!

So glad you guys are finally at your new house. The amount of stress you guys have had to manage, and the amount of things you've had to do... Glad that everything, mostly, turned out alright in the end.

Im so glad youre settled now! The entire story sounds like a nightmare so im glad youre all safe and settled now

What a tale of high adventure and reward! Very entertaining read, I'm happy for you and your family that every turned out well.

Thanks for relaying that story. I'm so glad you guys were able to move. Having just bought a house myself in the last 6 months, I know how big an ordeal it is. We also had to redo a bunch of electrical. Best of luck to you!

Very well written! And yay I got a moon!

What an amazing and interesting story! It was well worth the wait. Thank you, Joe and Lili for taking the time to share this with us patrons.

I'm glad you made it through this ODYSSEY! I am very happy for the both of you and the kids, daogs and cat. Life will be much more relaxed with all this space and the freedom of owning it. It gives me great happiness to be able to contribute a tiny fraction of your income.

Wow, just wow. I thought i would have read everything in 5 minutes, but almost 1 hour has passed by now. Great to hear everything ended well, Joe and Lili. I enjoyed the read. Some nice anecdotes were interspersed, i can notice you’re an experienced writer. I’m happy to be able to support you. Take your time en enjoy your new house. Good luck and greetings from the Netherlands!

So I'm here reading all this after a really bad night of heat and sweat - our fan almost broke yesterday and is making huge, regular noises, almost like a sentence you would be able to tell alongside with him, after enough repetitions : VVRRflflflflflflflflfllflflVVRRRflflflfVRVRVRRRRRRLLLLLLLFLLflflflflflfl... My wife and I promised ourselves to sleep until 1PM but woke up at 9AM right after a VRRRR. I read the entirety of your story, on my side, lying on the bed in the dark, and my arm hurts. Now my wife wants me to tell her the whole story. It had so many details, and I read it while being so tired and mad, that I know realise I almost forgot the start of it... Thanks for those insights Joe. I'm so proud to support you and your wonderful family and menagerie. Hope you're doing well and those next few weeks will be luckier. Love from Paris.

this was my favorite

That reading was definitely worth a moon. ;-) In all seriousness, wow. Just wow.

I think you should do your short vids on the main channel, the reason I think that the new ones didn't do so well is that they were videos on an indie game and a browser game, which have less demand for an analysis. I think a small video on a big game will help you determine if small vids are really the problem.

What a crazy ordeal but hoo boy am I glad you guys made it! Hope you guys are enjoying that feeling of a whole house that is truly yours and you’re taking time to relish in it!

Both yours and Lili’s parts were really well written and interesting, and the whole story reads just like one of your videos! I love how your roots as an author really sets your content apart. The way you write is so seemless and unique, I love it. Your style has even started to infuse itself into my own writings and has honestly helped me a lot in school! So thanks for that, thanks for this story, and thanks for your videos! They mean a lot more to me than I could ever explain to you in text. I wish you and Lili the best of luck!

That was a good read! Happy for you and your family! Best wish to all of you, and I hope the new house will bring a lot of good memories years ahead!

Read the whole thing, I can't stand old people cutting the line ether

I will never look at a family flying with young children the same way again! I know there's still plenty to do, so thank you for taking time for the long update. Congrats, and can't wait to hear more!

Thanks for the moon! I'm so glad that, through all the hardships, the move has been completed. I hope you can enjoy the joys of slowly building up your long term home. Congratulations!

Dominic

Thank God for Peter!!

Serious congrats for finishing the move! Props to Peter for being awesome! Also, I feel sad for the hotel clerk. She sounds like she hasn't been able to connect with any friends in Moncton. I'm so happy for you guys, and I'm tearing up a little just thinking about how awesome it is.

So happy for all of you. Travel and moving can be nightmares but I'm glad you made it through and that you are happy new property owners! Definitely worth a moon :)

TBH I'd read about anything for a moon, but this was a really good read.

It was worth a moon...

Dear lord, this is gonna take some time to read. Got far enough to see you got a loan from Peter so I'm guessing this story has a good ending. Congrats on surviving the move and finding a new home! You and your family deserve it for all the hard work you put in.
