The interesting thing about the Beatles is that they are really good. When I was young I listened to the ones that everyone listens to. But when I grew I started to listen to their albums more and found all of these masterpieces that no one would talk about. Things like I Will, Mother Nature’s son and to and to a lesser extent here there and everywhere.

I used to be PUNK ROCK so I would have said the Beatles sucked but in my old age I realized that studying the Beatles is almost necessary if you know music theory and write songs. Thanks for the book rec, I'll definitely be picking it up.
