Yeah I probably agree in most of what you said, alright some I likely shrugged off because the rest was decently strong. As for your final theory, that could be worth thinking about, who knows maybe Mrs flood used the previous gods in one way or another, perhaps they come back around

2025-04-27 19:41:21 +0000 UTCOverall I think a pretty good episode, although some parts had a bit more potential than was fully utilized I feel like. I thought it was a bit weird how Belinda pretty easily brushed off her want to go home when the Doctor was like oh we're in 1952 and she seemed shocked by that information. Like you already knew it was a time machine, and you're shocked that you traveled though time? What did you think was gonna happen? I thought that when Belinda and the Doctor were escaping the film and it was burning, that the film splitting between them as they escaped indicated that they were actually being placed into separate Lux films and would have to figure out that they're now with decoys of each other kinda like in wild blue yonder. But it ended up just being a stylistic visual effect. At the end when Mrs. Flood said "a trick of the light" and also the fact that the fictional people were still real, I thought both of these maybe indicated that Lux absorbed so much light / power that he is still out there and became actually god-like. In this state he might control things in a way, perhaps even through time. Kind of an out there theory but the ending was pretty out there too so potentially fitting.

2025-04-26 23:36:39 +0000 UTCI’d probably stop listening, once I’m done with the leaks I talk about my thoughts on next episode but from that point on it’s sort of just fair game. I will say though, I still believe knowing the leaks will make your experience better, but I also can’t be sure so totally fair to stay away
