November OneShot: Hunter x Halloween

Here we have the November OneShot, with Gon and Killua dressing up as Yasuke Urameshi and Keiko Yukimura, from Yu Yu Hakusho. I haven't personally seen that series yet, so apologies if I messed anything up due to my own lack of knowledge. In hindsight, I probably should have designed the OS in a way which allowed the outfits to be more prominent past the first few panels. But between the covering nature of both outfits, and the POV nature of the comic limiting camera angle options, I sorta just had to do what I was able to with the tools at my disposal. If I had infinite time to go back and change stuff, I probably would do it a bit different, but nobody is perfect, and it still turned out pretty solid.

For this OS, I wanted to test out some different coloring. For a while now I've wanted to test what it would be like to color in more muted colors, rather than the very vibrant ones I usually use. With this being a Halloween themed OS, I figured it would be a good opportunity to try that, since the darker, muted colors would fit well with the theme. Along with the muted colors, I also just in general used simpler shading. Something closer to anime cell-shading rather than how I usually color. This is mainly because I've been wanting to simplify the Simple-Color style in general anyway, as I've found that it's grown a bit too complicated, when the whole point of simple color is to be simple. And I'll instead implement the new skills I've developed to improve and modify my Full-Color Style.

As with all art I draw, the characters are aged up to 18+, hence why Gon and Killua appear roughly the same size as the POV character.
