This takes a far more entertaining turn than I was expecting and the reason it's not in the advice thread this week is simply that I don't care to intervene in this. I'm just sitting back with a martini and watching this guy's life fall into a shambles as a result of his own actions, as we all told him many times it would. So without further ado, enjoy So firstly, I need to give Girl 2 from the last story a name, as she becomes far more important this time. She'll be called Poppy from this point onwards. Now, what I didn't realise is that the Friday I posted Part 1, a couple of my other mates had told Poppy all about this whole manipulation shit. She's now fully aware of everything he's pulling and sees right through him. She continues to talk to him but tells my mates that she sees him like a "prepubescent child" and he's of no interest romantically or sexually The Saturday night after, I have all the boys round for some drinks, and we all agree beforehand that we'll tell Joe that what he's been doing is fucked up. He agrees, and he says he'll stop, that he fell too far down the rabbit hole etc. Nobody tells him that this Poppy girl knows, and so he keeps talking to her, trying to get with her. Now, I'm sitting on a call with him, and he decides out of the blue he's going to ask Poppy out. They've known each other for about 2 weeks maximum at this point, and I'm getting flashbacks to that one Clubhouse episode. I caution him very fucking strongly against this, like "No, don't do that, that's a fucking terrible idea". He basically fucks me off and goes to ask Ellie from Part 1, the girl that he was so hung up on that he broke down and cried over. She tells him that if he feels that way, he should ask her. I keep telling him not to but he decides to listen to Ellie, saying he wants to listen to the one that "knows the female mind". She responds with a very kind rejection, but messages a mate of mine like "Where did he ever get the idea that I liked him, I made this very clear and have literally told him I don't find him attractive". So for some reason, they KEEP chatting and on Saturday night (last week, not yesterday at the time of the podcast) I get a message from him saying "FUCK! I'm such a fucking idiot, I fucked up". Needless to say, I'm intrigued. I jump in a Discord call with him and he gives me a rundown of the conversation he just had with Poppy, who had just returned from a party and was drunk. It goes as follows: P: I get so horny when I'm drunk J: What're you up to? P: Sending pics to Sam J: Pics of what? P:My tits J: What tits? P: These tits *sends a photo in a bra* J: Not bad, but I've seen better ( He's a virgin, and he's never been with a girl as of yet, which she's completely aware) P: Sure you have *Sends another photo, this time with just her hand covering them* J: Are you meaning to be sending me these? She doesn't respond to that, and at this point, I'm just in hysterics at how he's managed to fuck his one chance of ever getting anything from this girl that he's obsessed with and how he thinks that trying to offend and question her actions at every step is a good idea. He keeps trying to talk to her and she's just refusing to talk to her. I ask him why he thought that was ever a good idea and he sends me this video from "Alpha Male Tactics" or something, and it's just this big black man recording a video on an iPhone saying how you should never compliment women because you'll make them dependent on you and you'll have full control over them. So in the course of a few days, he's managed to go back on not trying to manipulate people, he's managed to lose the interest of both of his two girls and then to top it all off when one of them decided to give him a shot he fucked it up irreparably. The latest I've heard of it, he's bet her a tenner that he can seduce her by the end of the month so that she'll keep talking to him. When you have to pay a girl to talk to you, I think it's safe to say it might be a lost cause. So there we go, there's the follow up on Joe. Hope you've had a good laugh over how pathetic this guy got so quickly, because I know I have. I'll be sure to keep you posted if anything more happens, and enjoy the rest of your day!
