Honestly, I really struggled to shoot film throughout June. Weird thing to feel 'defeated' about, tbh, but I am making a concious effort to shoot the bulk of the year on film. That has been made increasingly difficult just to how in love I am with the M11 again, though. First word problems eh!!
A lot of these photos are meh. Me and Robyn went to the skatepark as mentioned in an earlier post, and I intended to shoot it on film - which I did, initially! The problem was I felt like I was taking shite photos and once I was about half way through the roll I realised I was just shooting for the sake of it so I switched to the M11. Anyway, the rest of the month happened and I managed to take it with me to the beach and finish it off the day I was putting in a shift at the lab.
My favourite photo from the bunch? Honestly, it's the one of Marshall having a poo on the beach. I am collecting photos of him doing a poo in various scenic spots. I feel like I will make a very stupid zine of that one day, but who knows.
PS: This is the first roll of HP5 I have shot that I have actually liked the look of! Pushing it to 1600 appears to be a sweet spot for me.
