Day Fever
Added 2024-05-18 20:59:56 +0000 UTCHaving dogs and living out of the city means opportunities for me and Robyn to go 'out out' (in the more traditional sense, at least) are few and far between. There's also the fact that I'm just not as enthused about going to a nightclub anymore? I dunno. I have mixed feelings about it all.
That said, an opportunity came up for us to get tickets to a day time club experience and Robyn hasn't been on a club night out in Scotland before, so I figured why not give it a bash?
It just so happened to be on the hottest damn day of the year. We went in shorts and t-shirt. The sunlight beaming through the glass windows baking us proper. It was essentially a greenhouse with a bar. Fucking HELL it was mafting.
I'm no stranger to party photos. I'd shot clubs for years in my twenties and also released a photobook of party photos on nights gone wrong. But I fancied a change, so for the first time in actual years I went out without my usual camera.
Instead, I took my DJI Osmo Action 4 action camera in my pocket and used it on photomode.
We were so fucking hot that we didn't stay for a very long time, and as I'm barely drinking I didn't get in the familiar 'party photographer' mode, but I got a few snap shots for the occasion.
This is a whole lot of nothing, I don't know why I'm still typing. I had a nice time!
