00578: Harman Phoenix | May 2024
Added 2024-05-04 22:57:03 +0000 UTCI bought a batch of Phoenix when it was first released, and got through 2 or 3 rolls in winter. It was new, and exciting, but also I always felt like I wasn't doing the film any justice. It wasn't lending itself to those short dark days. So I decided to hold off a few months and try it when the weather improved.
Well, the days are much longer now and the sun is shining!
I headed to the beach and just felt like taking some Phoenix with me for the occasion. I haven't done an environmental audio photo video for a little while and figured this would make a perfect opportunity.
I'll probably get the video done in the next day or so but wanted to share the photos here first. I scanned these with a Noritsu.
The photos are pretty mid in general, but I love how the phoenix looks here - it's by far the best I've got out of the film to date and so I guess I'll probably get through the rest of my rolls as the summer approahes.
