Image Review: People on bench, Hogganfield Loch
Added 2024-04-11 22:58:34 +0000 UTCI'm assuming this pair are either parent and child or grandparent and child. Either way, their body language is what caught my eye.
The older person looks visibly focused and tense (see how his palms are flat besides him on the bench), contrasted with the child on their phone with a much more relaxed and fluid body language, seemingly completely in their own world.
I also enjoy how it almost looks like a posed portrait of the pair of them, rather than a candid. I think it would be easy to assume I asked for their photo, as it appears that I am getting eye contact, when I actually think he's just looking through me at the view of the pond as I was passing.
I took this with the Leica Q2.
I think I'm going to print this one and see how I feel seeing it relatively large.
