St. Ninian's Fife Earth Project

We jumped in the car and tore up the M90 to St Ninian's Fife Earth Project this morning. This was an unexpected find while doom scrolling TikTok one day.

On the drive, I did some token research.

American Artist, Charles Jencks, was commissioned by local developers to turn the 930 acre site into the largest piece of artwork in Scotland. During the process though, Scottish Coal, the land owners went bust and the project was put on hold.

People are free to come and go as they please, and is seemingly a popular place with dog walkers.

It was a drizzly day today, and we lucked out at being the only ones up there. I imagine it's even nicer on a sunny day, but I'd rather avoid the people if I'm honest.

I recorded a pile of audio, and shot almost a full roll of Portra 800 with the M6. I'll get that roll to the lab in the morning and will likely piece together a little environmental audio & photos video like I've been enjoying recently.

In the meantime though, here's a few shots taken with the Q2.
