This was genuinely an excellent and wholesome episode. Just talking about dumb dad stuff. It made me laugh too much. It's way too relatable. But thank god for our wives, the master of finding shit we lose. A few months I lost my restricted area badge before I was flying out for an exercise. I had it the night before. I was freaking the fuck out because I didn’t want to get a “missed movement.” Right when I was about to call my SNCO, she walked out and said, “Hey, look what I found in the toy bin.” Somehow, my son grabbed my badge the night before and was playing with it. Nearly every TDY, when I’m packing and trying to find something, she knows where it is; she has that mental map of my shit.
