2023-03-24 03:48:41 +0000 UTCReally love that you guys are going though these. M*A*S*H* is one of my all-time favorite shows that I rewatch every couple years. I didn't care for it when I was kid, but now that I'm older and have been in the Army not only do I thoroughly enjoy the show, but I've developed an appreciation for how so many things still feel relevant in today's military. My units would always have CSMs and SNCOs showing episodes of Band of Brothers for NCOPD, but I think that there's a lot of Mash episodes which would be great to base professional development sessions around. For Season 2 I think two episodes you should include in the review is "George' (S2 E22) and "For the Good of the Outfit" (S2 E4). "Officers Only" (S2E15) is another one I like, if only for the plot revolving around the Officer/Enlisted divide. I know you said you're not going to bother with the later seasons, but I think "The Tooth Shall Set You Free" (S10 E14) is definitely worth including. Like a lot of the more social-commentary heavy episodes, it's definitely one that would be lambasted as "woke" if it was made in modern times.
