2023-03-08 08:35:59 +0000 UTCI could sum my two cents on gun owning the same as car owning : most people will not employ them properly, endanger people by having them, and eventually kill more people than other hazards. Only a few societies with the right education and taught responsability might handle them right. There are few Switzerlands. If made expensive, it becomes a luxury for the rich and a tool of opression. Bad. If made affordable, it becomes a society hazard. Bad too (more deaths). So, no guns for everyone. Or anyone. As bleak as it seems, the government and police should monopolize force? Tough call.

But outside the citys there are some really good options. A friend of mine bought a house recently near Zürich. Its old but pretty big. Costed him arround 600'000CHF and hes in the city center in like 20minutes via bus
