PokéSins Johto League Ep1 Early Access

You've heard my usual reasons for delays and breaks before, and I don't feel ready to explain new developments right now, but suffice to say that I am immensely grateful for all of you.
I mentioned in the Remake 5 BTSF (I think) about why I was struggling with the remakes, so a new season should alleviate that particular issue.
Anyway.
As the first five or six (in this case 6) episodes of a season are all free, my valued patrons will get a week's early access to them. This will release publicly in 7 days, but for now it's just for you guys.
I hope you enjoy in. I know I did.

Remember that PokéSins doesn't use a password anymore. Just log in to Patreon via my website (you may need to log out of Patreon on your browser first), then you'll have easy access to all episodes of your tier.

2024-05-19 17:39:06 +0000 UTCI removed the early access episode a couple of hours ago so there aren't two when the public release is out in a couple of hours from now. I don't know why it would only have had the BTSF. Probably some sort of caching issue on your browser. I honestly didn't think anyone would happen to go to watch it in the few hours between removal and release, but I'll try to either cut that gap down in the future, or post something to let you guys know I've removed it. Sorry for the inconvenience.

2024-05-13 07:26:09 +0000 UTCI'd been wondering when the next one was going to come out since you were pausing on remaking the first 15 episodes. It's amazing the differences in pacing between Johto and Season 1 as by this point in Season 1 the 6th Gym had long been a memory and the series was in the middle of 30 episodes between Fuchsia and Cinnabar, and here in Johto we've finally arrived at the Goldenrod Gym. Miltank is infamous for being a difficult fight in the Gen 2 games but much of that is due to the player still having limited options in moves and pokemon for countering her and with Gen 2's level curve over-leveling to just brute force the fight isn't really that great of an option. Rollout can definitely be dangerous if allowed to build up but any kind of accuracy debuff (like the Mud-Slap TM Falkner gives) limits her damage.

While I'm sure you didn't intend it in a rude way, it's basically like saying 'you owed me this, and it's bad that it took this long to give it to me'. It's sort of an admonishment for not doing it sooner. It's a commonly said thing, but that's just because most people don't think about what it really means. It's essentially telling someone off for doing the thing you wanted them to do. I'm not angry or upset, but I feel it's important to explain to people why this commonly used phrase isn't a polite response to something. I hope you understand my reasoning and aren't offended by me explaining all this.
