What a month it has been for me...
A whole new world of things happening here in RL as everything has changed for me and it's been a few weeks of near turmoil, but we are getting there now.
Yet somehow in the middle of it I've managed to product all this content somehow in the middle of it all in maybe the hardest time in years. I'm impressed with myself, but I'm proper knackered.
The last week I've a touch of burn out as I've felt like I been working on art or other projects a little nonstop, but hopefully it should get slightly easier in the upcoming month and going forwards, this likely will be as time crushed as I could get.
And with that, a little review looking at this month and saying that if I can keep this sort of level going, I should be fine most months. I may have to deviate from time to time or look at concessions, but I'm hoping this is still workable and you're all enjoying the content.
From being not sure if I could find time to make this, to where I am now speaks volumes it can be with some hard work.
The only thing that’s been hard was getting completed works out on time so far. Hoped to release some bits easier than as late as they have done this 1st month because of the hoops you need to jump through - as believe it or not after creating the image and art I've still got much time spent getting it to you (text captions, patreon posting, html code, putting the files in the right directory and uploading to the server).
It's something I will be mindful going forwards but felt acting while I had a drive and passion to create (overflowing the 1st few weeks) was right to act on and have works to show, even if it is all mucg at the end of the month here rather than spaced out.
> iGAPES plug in set
I've released the art for this project but hope to have time to type a story for it soon. With captions alongside the art it makes the story / sequence flow better and have some light fun with the images but this will be more available next month and beyond for these kinds of things. So I'll see about filling in the blanks and typing that story when I have quieter moment - so please wait around for that.
Doing more sequence like pieces like this requite some planning but are very fun to do - so hopefully I can do more of this going forwards for sure (both futa and gaper alike). I'll try and fairly balance it between the two main kinks so that there will be an image set (more than just a sole image for you to view).
> AI Image Upscaler
So I may have mentioned using this in brief, but let’s elaborate. I'd spotted that somebody had used this idea while upscaling some smaller older images file and found the results where honestly pretty good. The process removes all the pixelation when needed to zoom in somewhat. A quick google search and found one that was free too - couldn't be better, so let's try it out.
A little testing later and found that being able to blow these images up would really be helpful with say backgrounds as I often have to scale the characters in and it zooms a touch in when I do that, even with quite high-resolution images.
Now I'm a little pissed I found this out now, it would have been great to have known about this option for a few years ago with all the images I could have used or made better when doing this... but better late than never, I guess.
So, it may be a small thing for you to know, but hopefully thing may look a touch smoother background wise in the upcoming images. I'll attached an example of what it can do here - side by side. It's not 100% perfect use all the time, but it's impressing tech that gets rid of quite a few blemishes and expands me scope in the range of images I use... so that neat!
> Honey Select Lighting Options
Another area that’s been okay... but not great was the global light options in Honey Select. By default, they would always do a global assigned illumination and maybe over saturate some images. I'm not against this sometimes as shiny = looks short hand great and semxy - but doesn't always work out when in darker enviroments where no light would naturally shine out.
I've aquired a plugin extension what allows a easy 'lights on' / 'lights off' function, and using some easy arty manipulation we can now have the models sitting in better environments and more custom lit ones without random shining where light naturally wouldn't be. So in short the models will look a little better applied to the place they are and stuff.
I've picked up some more tricks while using Honey Select but still have more to learn now this will become more a focus going forwards for now.
And that’s about it for my TED talk today - The upcoming month I'm preparing for, getting work done while I can and will look to do some more manips and 3d edits for you all shortly. I've a few ideas in mind but we'll see what September brings.
As always a tremendous thank you to you all for your support and patience and allowing me to do this. I'd likely go mad without something to make my mind off the normality drudge of the world, and I'll continue to do so as much as you stick with my and support met - so big thank you all very much for making that happen, you’re all legends!
Right, time to more smut, so have a great one! - Sius
