Diary Entry: 8th Feb 2020

o) HI ALL - 

 Well I guess I should really thank you once again if your reading this as it means you've helped me out by offering your support and got me a step closer to spending more time on this, keeping my lights on and getting more content out. Really Thank you so very much!

As I write this it's a little.... intimidating knowing that in a matter of days that I'll finally be launching this thing. Its taken an age to get here and honestly more than anything it maybe due to my lack of belief in myself and my works (because there are some CRAZY good people out there - it's kind of hard to know that the whole worlds bests are kinda your competition and that you are a very small fish in a very big pond, just so glad I'm very happy to do kinks stuff they are not!) but also my lack of CG content and tiredness of looking at work hours on end trying to get it done ¬_¬

I think the upshot is that the things I've learnt and picked up on (some minor Photoshop tricks) have majorly helped out with making some of my material better. It'll never be as good as some people, but I know its better than it was and that maybe as best I can hope for. Going forwards I hope in a few months / years time I'll reflect and see improvments from right now.

o) CONTENT - 

 As the moment I've hopefully given a bit of material to get you started and hope to push out more over the month as time goes on. The trove of material I have I'll end up working with as well as new stuff. Please be patient as it take many hours to get this stuff all put together.

o) ADAPTION - 

 Currently I hope I've gotten down a fair bit of content for the launch of the patreon and will be using the time to look at what's said, what people like / dislike and hopefully work on them now I have something to go from with you guys and gals and what you want / expect etc.

While I'm really very happy with feedback, I will be looking to the polls on Patreon as a source for answers from the people who basically fund me up and as a result you get the most weighted value to what's suggested.

I'll hopefully have a work flow / of what I'm able to bang out per month and know that plans may change as we go along. Also understrand that if real life kicks in hard with a nasty dose of reality (Illness or something worse for examples) that this maybe put on hold for a while if it comes down to it.

But I do very much want to do right by you folk so please know that I'm not considered this Patreon lightly and hope to get real material from it flowing so everybody is pleased with what they get.

o) CG TESTING - 

 At the moment I'm going through some great CG testing. Its been fun working on it and honestly I think I have a system now. CG is a funny thing honestly. When you add flat colour right next to something thats had layers of colour added to it, it looks very striking how much it looks kinda bad. If you can look at it and it looks REALLY out of place then the coherency of the image has failed and the artist hasn't done a good enough job. Maybe I'll leave an example for you to see.

I don't REALLY want to do cell colouring (flat colour with just shading layers - like anime tends to) to my works unless its quick or I'm desperate. It takes ample time to do this stuff on the computer and get some nice nice results and I'm kinda pleased with what I'm putting down so far and am looking to improve it and speed it up as time goes by.

I am also kinda... holding off on some art I know is great because I don't want a bad colour job to mass it up so maybe consider this as I  maybe a touch slow getting around to them

o) WEBSITE DESIGN - 

 So The material will be on my website and hosted there. Mentions of new stuff will be posted on Patreon with the link to the source to download it here. Use your password to get into the site and enjoy the works!

HOWEVER The style of it is functional but maybe a little wanting. I was pleased with it originally but as we got closer to launch I ended up finding things I'd change from a design side to maybe make it easier to navigate and read (like visually, so you can find what you want) so this may also be worked on at some point. Thanks for your understanding.
