Japanese learners: do you use Yomichan ?
Added 2021-02-14 09:53:32 +0000 UTCA fellow patreon fan has asked me about a potential integration between AwesomeTTS / Language Tools and the TTS voices and Yomichan. I am not a learner of Japanese so I wanted to find out more about this tool.

I'd find the integration super useful, as I find about 50% of the words I look up with Yomichan don't have associated voice recordings. It would be nice to just have 100% coverage with AwesomeTTS.
2021-02-21 18:11:56 +0000 UTCI do use Yomichan, though I'm not sure I would find AwesomeTTS integration especially useful. Yomichan already provides native recordings for most individual words. And for exporting sentences, it often gets the sentence boundaries wrong (especially with e.g. Netflix subtitles), which I then have to clean up manually, and would need to re-record manually anyway. That doesn't mean other people wouldn't find it useful, of course. Just giving some specifics about my personal vote.
