BIG New Feature: Target & Solve
Added 2020-09-12 07:58:55 +0000 UTCI'm happy to announce an awesome new feature for Glazy Patrons: The alpha version of Target & Solve. Just open a Recipe, Material, or Analysis in the Calculator and click the "Target" button. In the new recipe, add materials you would like to use to reformulate the target analysis, then click "Solve". Glazy will automatically calculate the new recipe for you! This is an excellent way to accurately perform material substitutions, or even re-create ancient Chinese glazes (ala Nigel Wood's Chinese Glazes).
This is just the alpha version. It works well for simple recipes and simple substitutions. But sometimes it doesn't work well for recipes with a lot of ingredients or for complicated substitutions. This feature will be improved in the future!
