The storyline in the MV is part of that whole story and is unrelated to the lyrics of the song for the most part. The story is continued in other MVs throughout the rest of the discography as well as extra content like mobile games, a webtoon (basically a mix of a webcomic and a manga), written materials, and some of the cinematics that play on-screen between songs at concerts while the guys rest and change outfits. If you're going to try to understand the BU storyline you're in for a ride!!
