UPDATE: Small Delay on Sarah Boone

Howdy loyal Patrons!

Alrighty, I’ve been going hard out on the Boone project, but sitting here right now and looking at what’s left, I have to accept it’s just not quite going to be ready by the 15th. I hate not making a date I’ve given a hard promise on, and was sure the 15th would be enough plus breathing room, but I simply underestimated the project. I’m sorry 🙁

To give you an idea of how far along it is: I could honestly export what’s currently sitting in the editing suite and it would be a perfectly watchable vid - the rough cut is complete! It’s just that the polishing touches like adding subtitles, music, tightening up boring patches, and generally double checking the roughly 1 hr 20 Mins of runtime for any screw ups will take more than a day. Missing a deadline sucks, but I’m sure you’ll all agree delivering a half-baked project to paying supporters is far worse.

Speaking of paying supporters though, a hard promise is still a hard promise, and I am missing it. For anyone who’s been looking forward to the 15th and is understandably bummed out by this, I would hate to leave you feeling taken for granted. If you’d like a refund for your last charge, please DM me for it, no questions asked. No need to explain yourself in any way, just DM with nothing but “yes please” and I will put it through over the coming days.

And it is close! I’d estimate it’ll be up either by the end of the weekend or early next week.
