Announcement of a Slight Delay & Request for Artists with Commissions Open
Added 2024-05-26 17:01:59 +0000 UTCI was editing Session Zero Part 3 last night and decided it needed an almost total rewrite; the quality wasn't up to snuff. I had a lot of writer's blocks with Part 3 and it showed. As much as it pained me, I had to throw out the almost 8k words written. My usual stance is that it's best to power through weaker sections of writing in order to overcome my drive towards perfectionism, but it wasn't weak, it was boring, and I'd rather be a little late then release something in that state.
The good news is that I stayed up late and got a solid couple thousand words in. The bad news is that I definitely won't have time to finish and edit in time for the usual Sunday/Monday release, so expect either a surprise mid-week drop or two updates next Sunday.
On a happier note: We've reached a level of support (Thank you all so much!) where I can start commissioning art. If you are an artist or know of any artists that would like to make a little bit of money to sketch a character please let me know. I reached out to someone and never heard back, so I thought I'd crowd source finding an alternative.

Hey no worries dude, don't feel pressured to publish something that does not meet your standards. I personnaly would feel better if delays are communicated more clearly just to save my poor f5 key :). I think you did a good job communicating delays with this post. As far as the update feeling boring, I don't think I would be bored as long the world gets fleshed out further. No need to spice things up too much, I enjoyed the Annie and Maki sex scenes because we got to know them first. I think this is why large harem stories fail, at some point the girls just blend into eachother and it feels empty. I hope your muse is kinder to you this next week and as always I look foward to the next chapter.
