Getting back on track with fitness

I would be lying if I said I am happy with the way I look, because I have gained a lot of weight in the past year or so. The photo above was taken around April 2016 I think, and looking at it makes me sad to see how i have lost the physique I used to be so proud of. I don't exactly dislike the body I am in now, rather I know my personal preference for the way I like to look or feel, is to be more lean, more muscular, increased strength and stamina. I used to be very active, but moving to Europe had impacted me much more than I thought it would. I lived pretty far out from the city in a small town, and didn't have access to a gym. Additionally food was different, and I really don't handle the cold well (-15 wasn't unusual during the winter).

Now that I have settled into a new place, and gotten a gym and diet plan down, I will hopefully be working my way towards gaining back my old physique, strength and health! I will be posting here my progress as well, in the hopes that will also help me to stay on track, so any support or motivation would be very much appreciated!

I honestly really like the way you are right now, but don't let me tell you how to look :) I'm working on losing weight myself, but I've got a long way to go... Good luck!

haha thank you LeRolo, and yes it is very true that if you are confident you will come across as more beautiful. Honestly for me personally physical beauty matters mostly because of my job, I find an intelligent mind and a kind heart much more attractive qualities. Being physically attractive and being healthy are not necessarily the same things :)

It's so awesome that you're managing to do something and better your standard of living. Being able to feel completely comfortable in your body will help you mentally as well, and make you stronger as a person, so this kind of news is always pleasant to hear. My girlfriend and I will be doing something similar soon, but on a budget - no gyms. Luckily there are lots of parks around where I live, so we'll just spend time doing lots of walking, and any weights will be done at home

Well you are beautiful, that's obvious! LoL but as always you could be more beautiful (if that is possible LoL) , beauty does not depend only on your body, also on your mind! If you feel good then you will look better too! So put a goal and try to achieve it in the best way! Don't know if it motivates you but it's my two cents LoL... Either way you are beautiful because you are one cool girl ;D
