Opening the Discord?
Added 2022-02-17 07:29:48 +0000 UTCI'm think I will be opening parts of the Discord for the general public, in order to make it more vibrant and more useful for me in the long run.
This will only be the #general and #requests part of the server, while all the others will still be exclusive for Patrons. This is because when talking about personal things like art or mental health, there is a safety in everyone being identifiable through the a credit card. A dollar a day keeps the trolls away, as they say. (No, it doesn't cost a dollar a day).
I'm really excited about how the Discord is going, and we're slowly building a community there. But seeing as only a small fraction of my patrons will ever be active there, getting more people in there might be good both for the community, and for my Patreon campaign.
If you haven't checked out the Discord server, where we hang out and chat, then get a Discord account, and go in to your settings on Patreon to link the accounts together.
