Another short update...
Added 2021-11-16 07:32:33 +0000 UTCShort update. I'm not out of the woods yet, but I'm hopeful that this depressive episode is lightening it's grip slowly. Which means I'll be able to start doing something about all the mess I've built up over the last years.
Hopefully I'll be able to do all the shipping, commissions, and sending invoices that I should have done a long time ago.
Regarding artistic plans, I'm starting to get fed up with TikTok. It's a wonderful platform when it works, but right now the algorithm isn't working in my favor, so I need to reprioritize my strategy.
So my current thinking is that I'll focus more on my longer (1-3 minutes) form storytelling, myths, fairy-tales, etc, etc, that I can publish on both TikTok, YouTube, and IGTV. These will of course take longer to produce.
My short Daily Ink Monsters will mostly be moved over to YouTube Shorts, just to see if they by some magic can work there as well.
I'll also be cutting down some of the content on politics and mental health, because they lead to so many toxic discussions, and especially during depression it's soo easy to get caught up in them.
(That doesn't mean I won't be doing anything about politics, just trying to do less).
Ummhhh... Yeah... There's a lot of exciting updates as well, but those will have to wait until I know I'm actually out of the woods for now.
And the grand re-evaluation of what I'll do the next years of my life, if I'll have to stop doing art professionally for a while, will also have to wait. It's not good to make decisions in the mists of depression.
