I feel like there has to be more to the Sheriff. It does seem like an abrupt switch, so I am sure there is going to be some revelation about him.

2023-09-16 07:36:23 +0000 UTCWell, well, well, I might have been right about one theory. So, about that abrupt story arc end... it was abrupt! I'm sure they had their reasons, but to suddenly back tract like that, where the Sheriff just magically believes what they tell him, (albeit the truth) and no ones gets in trouble, even in the short term, for killing a Sheriffs Deputy? I don't know, it just feels off. Anyhoo, I also believe that this Abernathy guy is in on the sex ring deal, unless they dropped that story completely and this is something else. How could he think he didn't have to re-register? And the way the townspeople reacted to Norma wanting to network... just weird. I did love the glimpse of Normans 'Norma' personality. I am left with many questions. Is Dillon going to be around for a while? Or just drop his story? Are they going to continue the sex slave storyline? I guess we'll have to wait and see.
