As long as she got the money and managed to do something with it, then I am happy. I really felt for Belinda the entire season, the second the whole business plan thing started being talked about, I had a feeling this would happen.

It's just that instead of having Tanya invest in her business idea and finally being able to build something of her own she is just left with a tip. It reinforces the customer-worker relationship and basically shows that nothing much will change in her life. I also think the White Lotus isn't the show to look for happy endings. In fact it reinforces it's points by it's ending. The wealthy family is stronger then ever after feeling that their possessions where threatened. Rachel isn't able to pull away from her jerk of a husband. Even Paula who was sympathetic to Kai's situation still gets to leave unscathed without facing consequences after encouraging him to take that risk. It was very fun to rewatch the season along with you. I will have to say that after this rewatch I can confirm that I much prefer the second season. The first season is good and more comedic but I feel like the second season outdoes it in it's complicated relationships and production values. Can't wait to see what you think of the new cast.
