There's something really hot about reality changing like that with none of the characters realizing what's happening. A lot of reality warp stories/images involve being a third party to the person being changed, so your style is a nice change of pace. I also like it when someone remembers the original world as well. Especially if they just shrug and go with it after a bit, like with the MLP Pink World comic.
