hi everyone, i hope you're all doing ok!

still struggling with art block, but wanted to stop by with this weeks video, a couple of sketchbook pages (wip), and some photos.

recently i've been spending a lot of time worrying about whether i'll have enough to share with you each week. it's a weird feeling- i want to be able to create more than i do, share more than i do, but never seem to be able to. i spend a lot of time apologising for being "off" and it's difficult to consider whether or not i really am just a bit "off" (with room for recovery and/or improvement) or if i'm just consistently hitting the wall of my weekly energy levels and output. i'm not really sure where i'm going with this, it's just something i've been thinking about. i hope you enjoy my little updates. hopefully i can see the end of this art block soon, it's been making me feel very heavy.

take care and speak soon, friends x

Just finished watching with a hot chocolate and *loved* the christmas decoration segments! I don't really decorate for christmas too much and haven't gotten new bits in a few years I think, so it was really nice to live vicariously and see all the pretty things I've been missing! The jumper/top you got looked so lovely on you too (: A moment of silence for your notebooks argh :( Hoping your new hobonichi gets here soon, and that it's a nice fresh start! <3

I can really relate to feeling like you're always "off" and struggling to do as much as you want to do. I'm also disabled and creative by profession, and I always feel like I'm not doing as much as I should and that I'm letting people down. But I've had to learn my limitations, and I try to stop apologising for myself -- I am doing as much as I can, and I don't have to fit into the standards of non-disabled people. I always appreciate what you share, but it's always OK to not share or to take a break -- you don't have to live life at other people's pace.
