It's going to be there greatest challenge thus far, but I think they can do it. If Cook Looney and Bell can continue to give us good minutes we could be very deeper than ever come stephs return.

Loon might be the best of the young guys right now!

I was hoping the time off would have cleared his mind...

Reading that with other NBA players in past with MCL Sprain G-II, timetable return has been on average about 45 days. But really 🙏hoping your take on this with Steph and Team 👍 is outcome

So hard to watch this team get chipped like this. Curry cant catch a break and when he returns it will be deep in a playoff series or WCF... Im hoping klay and KD get right and Cook holds down the PG spot till chef gets healthy.

All in all, I think we got lucky here. I think Curry will be ready in 4 weeks. Remember, KD took 5 weeks but he also had a bone bruise that required extra time. And I also remember that KD could've played at around 4 weeks but we kept him out longer bc we didn't need to play him. The one team we need to avoid in the 1st round = OKC. OKC and Houston are the 2 teams I don't think we can beat without Curry. We just don't match up well against OKC. Cook really is a savior now. Looney's emergence has been critical as well. Our offense will obviously take a hit with Curry out but our defense can potentially get a lot better. Kerr can put out lineups like Iguodala/Klay/KD/Draymond/Bell or Iguodala/Livingston/Klay/KD/Draymond or Iguodala/Klay/KD/Draymond/Looney. The defense of these types of lineups would be elite bc every single guy is 6'7 or taller and can defend on the perimeter while being able to constantly switch. If we can hold the fort until Curry comes back, teams will be in for a surprise bc all of a sudden we will have another scoring weapon in Cook that they aren't used to seeing.

Kerith not mentioning Looney among the "young guys squad"... THE DISRESPECT

Pretty sure it was McCaw who mistakenly reached out to an opposing teams' free throw shooter between shots a game or 2 ago. I was wondering about his mind then too. - Yeah - check it out Alchemy - in the Spurs game, he reaches out to Tony Parker between free throws. 1st quarter, :49.2 on the clock. I remember thinking WTF?! Maybe something going on in his life outside the game has his attention. Great vid. Btw love your video intro and music. LoL at "he even talks lazy", Nick seems very laid back and has good sense of humor, great to see him bit more aggressive, we need that from him

Paranoia at 3:58. And at least Swag saved his MLK act for the press room. Best news is getting minutes and contributions from the young guys, that will pay dividends in the playoffs. And Nick waking up from all his daydreaming, of course...

Great description of Looney's jumper...butter for sure. Man, he looks really good.

I guess the good news is this will give his ankle a more proper time to heal itself. Should be fully energized 2nd round.

Tho not good news, on positive note, hoping this time off also gives more healing time for his ankles, which seems he still def needs

Yeah more like 5 but the question is, should we hold him out until WCF?
2018-03-24 20:32:36 +0000 UTC
Would you not play Curry until WCF? I mean I don’t know why they are reporting he “can come back before playoff starts” when recovery time for Grade II is 4-6 weeks. We all know and well that in his 3 week evaluation he won’t be ready unless they rush him back.
This is not the worse news but gotta think about how effective he’ll be with a 90% ankle, banged up knee. I really don’t want to rush him back. Remember what they all said after his Grade I MCL 2 years ago, “he was never the same” and that’s why they lost...

Lets just push it through the first round. Remember KD, with the full 6 weeks, he was in full game shape on his return. But then again they had that timetable luxury.

Grade 2 but it seems it’s 3 weeks warriors probably hold him out for 5 weeks, thank heavens it’s not that bad. Still want to slap the piss out of JaVale

Just saw the newsbreak right as I was finishing your report. Grade 2 sprain. Ouch. But at least not as severe? Talk of possible return to first Round playoffs. Hang in there Chef!
This year is reminding me of Warriors in '93. We had gotten Webber, and Sprewell was looking good, Mullin as aways, Gatling was showing signs.... We were feeling good about the season.... Then the injuries and it fell apart. My only shining hope is that the chemistry still stays strong. We got some good guys with good heads this year, and Steph, he's the balm of calm. You're right Alch, winning this year would be the emotional icing on the cake. Keeping my hopes alive! Go Warriors!
