I always try to avoid 'feeling' lol be it through avoiding watching intense films or sad things or just rewatching the exact same thing for years and years over and over haha. Currently been listening to ONE podcast over and over every second of day and night since June lol and I know the words. but its comfort. anyways, actually playing the music, opens up another channel for me, which allows me to EXPRESS. I already feel, just scared to FEEL it. u know? lol

2023-09-13 18:10:56 +0000 UTCI know far to well how its is to be “NUMB” and not feel nothing at all or maybe just too scared to want to feel anything again…i had to learn to be a man at such a young age it saddens me sometimes, the life i grew up in and the circumstances life put me through, and the demons that still try to speak to me to this day, but also taught me how to be so gentle in the present …. its ok to cry I promise….theres a Japanese saying that goes “ Crying is just the way your eyes speak, when your mouth can’t explain how broken Your heart is” your strong Sara, we fought many battles to be who we are today and maybe even still have to fight more…but were fighting for us our self worth and love…that light never goes out, it carries us through the dark

"I always try to avoid 'feeling' " I relate to that so much, but if I did that constantly I'd have to avoid watching your videos because they remind me how beautiful (and scary) it can be to feel. How does your presence create so much empathy and goodwill? It makes my heart remember so many hidden emotions. It's one of the most amazing mysteries about you. Para-social relationship or not, it's a true gift and I'm so grateful for it. I could say so much more, adding complications, ambiguities, and contradictions, but... just... Does that make sense to anyone? Has anyone here ever thanked someone for crying? (also, just curious, what podcast ? ;) <3

So we set them aside until a time when we're ready to explore safer outlets that allow us some ability to regulate letting it out. And if we're very lucky, someone to express them to/with where we can find comfort and support. So, I'm happy and honored you're sharing with us and being vulnerable. It speaks to your resilience! I genuinely admire you for this. 💚 (also, you sound great 🙂)
