Poll: May's theme.
Added 2021-04-11 15:51:01 +0000 UTCHi everybody,
the title says it: what will be May's theme?
I have selected four options listed below., and I have been working on some of them, but I want to know what you like the most!
The Ruined City. The ashes of war have settled. Smoke and the memory of fire still in the air. A skeletal landscape of lost harmony. - Ruined town scatter terrain set with a focus on playable "open" buildings, collapsed roofs, and the like.
The (Corrupted) Windmill. A narrow, clouded valley among Norgemark's dark forests hosts an ancient windmill with a sinister reputation. It is said that its teeth do not grind wheat, but bones. - Two versions of a big windmill: regular and corrupted, inspired by the old gothic Bonegrinder.
Witch Hut, Forest Altars. A nightmare: slates of bloodstained stone, constructions of bone, twisted trees, and a keeper of bestial secrets. - Scatter terrain set with trees, totems, rock constructions and a customizable witch hut.
The Temple/Church. Mitharras is the Stone-Born, the Lion-God, the Slayer of Evils, and is worshipped by multitudes. His temples are places of light, healing and martial training. - A fantasy temple/church set with the staples of the cleric profession.
(All the options will have OpenLOCK tiles when needed).
On Thursday I will gather the results and start asking for the Tlonista tier models :)
In the meanwhile, may Mitharras guide your spears!

Removable roof for "ruined" version. *PROP ideas - Interior - Altar, podium, pews, statues, holy water basin, sacrificial table, columns (movable), columns with openlock support beams between them? chandelier/lamps hanging from support beams like - https://imgur.com/1Og02R7 *PROP ideas - exterior - Gnarled trees, grave stones (standard, obelisk, statue, angel, etc), sarcophogi, mausoleum, stairs down to crypt, fences - wrought iron/stone, Interior/underground - Crypt/dungeon terrain.

2021-04-21 04:39:14 +0000 UTCI have a design in mind that I think works really well in a fantasy environment, but it is stone based (inspired by the Mausoleum of Theuderic in Ravenna). I would love to make a wooden version too, but that would mean almost doubling the sculpt time for the month, and unfortunately I don't have that. I definetely don't want these sets to be repetitive in any way, so more wooden structures will come for sure!
