I met a a gal in college who was pursing a dance career. We had a very brief conversation and I noticed that she was fresh out of surgery... i asked her about what happened to her foot (as it was all wrapped up), She told me that she has had NUMEROUS surgeries on BOTH big toes and explained to me how it simply comes with the territory pursing that kind of career. Crazy to think about especially considering how she started getting these surgeries before she was a teenager!

As a black male comic book artist, my goal is to get rid of the black dysfunction, the mother goddess worship, the emotional and irrational male characters, the forced LGBTQABCD inclusion, and (most of) the stereotypes in my work. Shit is sickening to see in every form of "black entertainment." It's even taking over black indie comics, as you've said, and I just roll my eyes when I see it. And I agree that black comic book artists and animators seem to lack good writing in their work because most of them are just 2-dimensional thinkers. My goal is to change that as well. When talking the origin and definition of the word witch at around the 14:26 mark, it came to me that well known "Black Conservative" Larry Elder is known as the "Sage of South Central. I watched a couple of interviews and I've seen him form his hands in the upward triangle position. Maybe he's into the craft as well. Allegedly, but still.

I despise those 50 Cent Power shows now he got something else called BMF (Black Mafia Family). In the show Power Book 2, nothing but dysfunction and foolishness, same with Power Book 3. They each feature male on male relationships or female on female relationships, pushing the criminal mindset as well as LGBT lifestyle. There’s an underlying Heru and Aset relationship dynamic throughout both these shows, 50 is a mother goddess worshipers. 50 also had an animated show in development called Trill League based on a indie comic by Anthony Piper, it’s entertaining but it’s nothing more than a Boondocks style hood Justice League. It’s good to support black male artist in the comic and animation field but some of the stuff they bring themselves to make just can’t be supported, even in the the animated/comic realm you can’t really escape the black dysfunction. There’s a brother named LeSean Thomas who has made two anime called Cannon Busters and Yasuke, they’re enjoyable but he needs to work on his writing, each show had issues with writing, as far as the animation, it’s top tier.
