Also this particular protest they did go to the more high end high income areas And I completely understand and agree with you when you say that there’s every other person besides the black man outside protesting I’m looking at it from a far in order to have change this kind of response needed to happen

yo, i'm late to the party. i'm a black man living in rural small town america. black people are an extreme minority here, with the rest of the town's make up being split between redneck types and hippies who started moving in around 30 plus years ago. i'm acquainted both types of whites through work and limited social interaction. those super liberal whites are the biggest damn phonies for the most part. those whites you see in the protest look exactly like the liberals here. they say all the right shit, support all the right cause, but when they see me in the supermarket, they do that fake, thin lipped smile, or completely avert their eyes. a big difference from when i'm at the local spot, where they feel supremely safe, and i walk in and it's all smiles and howdy. i haven't been watching any of these protest. i haven't been following any covid news. i'm sticking with the power of my beliefs and to hell with all of this horseshit.

When I saw that video of the young girl dancing and doing splits in front of the police, I said to myself, how the hell do you expect them to take you seriously when you're out there doing all of that? Smdh

Where was all of this in 2014 when Eric Garner died or was murdered in similar fashion? We still had social media, news media outlets, etc. All of the sudden, people want to gather in the streets in cause for the "black man" and protest but, if you notice during the protest, we have our people out there throwing up middle fingers, grabbing crotches, throwing out expletives, women dressing like prostitutes, at the same time asking for respect. How are you going to ask for respect, when you don't respect yourself first.
