Gunnerkrigg Court Omnibus Volume 1 out now!

It's finally here! You may already know we partnered with Dark Horse to collect the early books of Gunnerkrigg into some really nice omnibus editions, and the first one is available to buy RIGHT NOW!

The first omnibus collects volumes 1 and 2, will be available in softcover and limited edition hardcover and it really is the best way to read the early chapters physically! The books came out really nice, and I'm really happy people can finally get their hands on them!

Gunnerkrigg's Second Omnibus Announced!

Preorders for the second Gunnerkrigg court volume from Dark Horse are now open! Volume 2 collects the old volumes Reason and Materia (3 and 4, respectively) into one big omnibus!
It'll be available in softcover and limited edition hardcover. The hardcovers will also come with an individually signed page of artwork from me, so be sure to grab one if you want to get your hands on that before they sell out!

Officially Announced!

The official press release form Dark Horse went out yesterday and we now have a release date! The new omnibus volumes will be available in softcover and hardback (limited) on November 5th and 6th!

It was fun seeing the articles poop up on review sites and Dark Horse's site!

New Cover Artwork Preview

Here's a sneak peek at the new artwork for the new Dark Horse volume!

I wanted something that evoked the original cover artwork, but a little more interesting. there's going to be a soft cover version that uses the full image, but the hard cover will look more like the original hard cover edition, with a cropped image in the middle.

Here are some more updated pages. The changes are still pretty small, because I'm not looking to change the style of the comic. Even though Kat and Willie both look pretty different from their current appearance in the story, Annie is the one I felt needed most work in the early pages. The new volume is close to finished, and I’m looking forward to showing more in the coming weeks and months!

Most of the early changes I'm making are fixing the way I drew Annie. I had a vision in mind of drawing a kind of abstract character, like something I'd see in Dexters Lab, Powerpuff Girls, and other cartoons I loved at the time. The problem was, I wasn't really experienced in drawing like that!
