StudioSR3 April 2021 Report
Added 2021-05-17 02:40:07 +0000 UTCApril was another month of a lot of work behind the scenes, but not a ton of new public content. If all goes to plan, however, that trend should soon reverse. The goals for April were as follows:
1. Ink 5 pages of Deadeye: Lullaby as well as the cover.
2. Add 1 new feature to the StudioSR3 website.
3. Create 3 Artist Trading Cards.
4. Evaluate Odessa More Than Dust for a re-release as a webcomic
5. Progress in the writing of Project Aether.
I'm happy to say all goals were accomplished.
I'll be sharing more information about Deadeye: Lullaby here soon, as well as exclusive previews. Become a patron if you want a credit in the finished product. The major new feature of the website is a new Gallery, curated into sections and supporting comments.
I've assessed Odessa: More Than Dust and have made substantial re-writes. I do intend on releasing it as a webcomic, renamed More Than Dust. Its pretty far along, but I want to get the cover done before I post anything. I'm hoping to share final pages by June or July.
Project Aether has seen yet another rewrite, and I think this will be the last one. The comic is a comedy, a spoof of competitive trading card game anime, but I've always employed serious themes behind everything, which often produced somber scenes, and made it difficult to lighten the mood. The new theme, Art, is a lot more accommodating of the premise. More information soon, once I finalize a few elements.
