Added 2018-04-01 20:01:47 +0000 UTCHey guys, here's our change log for v1.4.0. Rewards will be distributed once Patreon processes pledges. I'm not sure what's up on their end but there hasn't been any update on pledges today. It may have something to do with Easter. In any case, this update brings some pretty useful improvements and we're pretty happy with how much we got done this month, so without further ado, here's whats new.
- Implemented Save/Load System - The long awaited Save function is here! You can now save up to 3 files. As the game nears completion, I’ll go back and add more save slots depending on how many are deemed necessary. Save button has been added to mini menu in bottom right corner of the user interface and allows you to quick save your file. Later on we may add the option to save to a different slot in the middle of gameplay but I am leaving Save/Load somewhat barebones at the moment while we implement other features of Project Cappuccino. We’ve also taken into account that players may not always remember where they left off on their last save. Loading a save file will put you at the beginning of a block and allow you to replay a segment of the day during which the save was created. Example: Saved after work on day 1 before finding Colette, loading your file puts you in game right after you finish work and are in the second half of the day. (This function may be changed later on as we tweak the system). Needless to say, this feature may still have bugs so please let us know if you find any!
- If you need to delete a save file and aren’t able to do so through the game, they can be found at: C:\Users\LocalUser\AppData\LocalLow\Tentakero\Project Cappuccino\savefile.cafe
- Added Night version of Main Lobby theme.
- Improved appearance of Main Menu. Now has option to Load/Continue from a save file. Twitter and Tumblr buttons have been removed from PC, Mac versions. Improved visibility of menu options. Settings button removed and replaced with standard uniform cog wheel from the last patch.
- Added Player Skin Tone Options - Players can now choose between 3 different skin tones for their character. Skin tone will be reflected in NSFW encounters and CG’s in which the player shows up.
- Story Updates:
- Players can now follow Colette into the woods via Sophie’s route - Path is available when Sophie decides to dart off into the woods alone. You’ll get a nasty little surprise from Colette who doesn’t take kindly to being stalked.
- Mira route added to Day 7 - Instead of going out into the woods with Sophie or Colette, Players now have the option of staying in the Cafe with Mira. This route allows you to learn a little bit more about the mysterious Cafe manager.
- All of Day 8 and Conclusion to Chapter 2 added - Three possible routes added to day 8. This day also concludes Chapter 2 and reveals Mira’s true form. One of the three routes is secret and allows you to delve deeper into Mira’s story, eventually leading to her secret ending in a later chapter.
- Added 6 new CG’s:
- Colette stepping on Player. (Forest)
- Colette attacked. (Forest)
- Colette Charm (Forest)
- Tea Time Mira (Day 7)
- Seducing Mira (Day 7)
- Mira Grin (Day 7)
- 3 skintone variants for all CG’s that include the player. (Not counting these as new)
- Added First Part of New Shibari Rope Toy - Rope toy can now be purchased from Lucretia for $450 and used in Sophie’s room. At the moment, this toy can only be used to bind legs but will have additional functions added in our next update. Possibly the option to bind arms, breasts etc. Colette’s room does not have this toy yet but expect that in the next update as well.
- Minor grammar and story flow fixes throughout all chapters.
Known Bugs
- Responses sometimes grant too many character standing points. Back end overhaul of character standing points is currently in the works. Not game breaking at the moment but if not taken care of now will cause story route problems down the line.
- Finishing in Colette’s room without a toy in use causes an effect overlap. Will be patched when we go in and add the Shibari Rope to her.
