Finished work - Aisha Hairstyle

Hello people

I was able to force some free time and play with procedural hair creation in Blender with the Hair Tool.

This was just for fun but it turned out quite pretty.

I made the textures from scratch, for no reason except trying to not get rusty with things. I made many variants so they can be universal, for long and short hair, and for updos.

I made a new shader for the hair, now they look less like an object and more like soft strands.

Living a hardcore grind recently - sorry for my absence

Hey, long time no see.

I wish it was different and I had more time for modding and posting.

But it's my last year of my Bachelor and I'm forced to grind, sacrificing my hobbies and social life :(

My last block was exceptionally difficult because of the track I follow - Biophysics. The courses are unfortunately not designed to be interdisciplinary and I have to put in a lot of extra work to catch up with students from other programmes, like Chemistry or Biology. Organic Ch...

WIP - BG3 heads

Another sneak peek of a new head collection made with the official toolkit.

This head is named Jonas and will be available soon in my new mod.

The head has a custom skeleton, which allows the piercing to be placed correctly, and the facial animations to be just as in vanilla heads.

I hope to make the mod as immersive as possible, so you don't even notice that your game is modded.

Hair practice - Faber, info dump, other things too

I've learned a new method for making hair, used by Ida Faber (really popular 3D character artist).

I went back to using Maya for card placement, because Blender makes me lazy and the effect is not that good, since there is often not enough control over the cards. For comparison, I'm not really happy with my Yeri hair done in Blender:

WIP - BG3 Heads

I levelled up my game and added custom skeletons, so no more floating piercings for big or small ears!

I'm creating a new mod, separate from my previous two head mods. This time, I'm using the official toolkit. Everything is going to work properly, the piercing, the eyes for tieflings, everything.

I edited the skin so it has a radiant look and real (like from the real world) eyebrow texture.

Even More Heads for BG3 updates

I've just updated my mod Even More Heads twice.

One update fixes the eyes for Tieflings - they now glow as they should

The second update is a patch for Eyes of the Beholder added as a separate file

Let me know if it works because I did it automatically, replacing the IDs with python for ever...

Hair practice

I made some new textures for extra long hair, taught by my last project - Undine.

This hair was made as a test for these textures. I changed the hair thickness and roots so many times I can't count, just to be sure there won't be any balding and empty spots on the head.

Next time I'll try making curly hair and I already know it will be much more difficult.

This hairstyle is called Yeri and will be ported to Skyrim, Cyberpunk and Baldur's Gate.

Undine Hair

Almost one week ago I accepted a commission from one of my members.

The idea was to make hair so long, that it certainly became unpractical.

The hair is about 5 times longer than the character and has physics.

Today I uploaded it on Nexus for everyone to enjoy, which was the commissioner's idea.

I wasn't sure if I wanted to accept commissions at all, but this one was exceptional.

I called the hair Undine, because in my mind, the idea was to make the hair flow...

It's still before optimization so it still looks so pretty lol

This hairstyle ends the second cycle of hairstyle packs, so I'm going to port these 3 recent ones soon (long straight hair, ponytail, braids, and their variations).

I think this time I'm going to start with Baldur's Gate 3?

I haven't added any hair for BG3 so it's time to learn. If I succeed, this will be the third game I'm modding (hurray!)

WIP

I think I'm finally done with the ponytail hair. This is the most basic version of the hairstyle, I'll probably add some braids or make variants with bangs. I'd like to hear your opinions or suggestions if you like this kind of WIP content at all.

I can see that I'm getting fewer and fewer paid members after I slowed down with Skyrim presets. I'm a bit worried since Patreon is my main source of income (I'm a physics student, can't work (because physics is difficult lol)). So tell me if...

It's here! My first Skyrim hair collection

Featuring 3 hairstyles which I already ported to Cyberpunk 2077 - Wendy, WolfCut and Bae.

It took me so long because I had to learn the SMP system - which was actually not that bad.

The presets will be uploaded soon here, I just need a moment lol

WIP - Skyrim rough port

Just to test some things, I ported the Wendy hairstyle without physics yet. I modified some things so the hair don't look awful anymore. I'm going to add SMP soon :)

The hairstyle doesn't have a scalp or a hairline. The main reason is performance - for the hairline the number of vertices would be 2x higher, and for scalp there would be extra verts as well. It doesn't have an impact on the look so I guess it was the right decision.

First hair models ported!

This is a breaktrough.

After such a long absence in the Cyberpunk modding community, I succesfully published my first ever hair mod.

It was so difficult and time consuming not gonna lie, but the satisfaction now is huge.

If you're playing (modding) Skyrim and feel that you need a break, give Cyberpunk a go (and download my mods pls ♥)

Update - collections on Patreon

We all know that the search function on Patreon is... well, not great. But today I noticed a new option to make my website appear more clear - collections!

Wendy hair finished

Today I wrapped up this project and rendered the hairstyle in Marmoset. I learned some tips for creating the hair shader, so they look much better than the previous renders.

This time I aimed for more delicate hair texture - more thin hair strands instead of less thick ones.

This has been the first case when I banned someone ever, so I think it's worth mentioning.

Other users in the commens asked about the preset and the author just said it's private.
