Trick Comes Home: Part 2 - early release (incomplete)
Added 2024-12-31 19:33:16 +0000 UTCTHIS IS... not ALL of chapter 8 part 2. there is ONE MORE SECTION, but i ran out of time before i could make it. the reason is... i spent a lot of time on sidequests, and the setpiece at the end of this build. but i'm very proud of what's here, so i'm happy to share it!!!!!!
i'm going to be pretty busy next month, so i'm scheduling the public build for JANUARY 12TH. hoping i can make it... because if i delay, it'll end up taking a really long time and i don't want that... waaaa thanks everyone for your patience as always.
also, just to clarify in case you missed it, chapter 8 will be 3 parts. so we basically hit the 2/3s mark!

you will hopefully NOT need rpgmaker vx ace RTP anymore to run the build--i tried making sure all the files i used from it are included in the zip, so hopefully theres nothing i forgot..... pls don't crash, treat........ if you don't already have a chapter 8 save, you can get to the new content from chapter select. there's no new alternate ending content in this build EVEN THOUGH I WANTED TO FINISH MORE!!!!!! just don't have time...
let me know if you run into any bugs or anything, i want to fix as much as i can before the public release drops...! the soundtrack and art collection will be coming after that too (since there's one illustration left and i might make another song, who knows)

That was really nice! I've played part 2 of Trick Comes Home, and I didn't notice anything that seemed like a bug or mistake. I haven't played the rest of this build yet, though. The story continues on in an interesting, engaging way, and I liked all the extra things you could do and extra people you can talk to - they keep things feeling fleshed out and interesting. The cutscenes at the end were very heartwarming and insightful, and it was a happy surprise to find out that thing about that tune we've been hearing the whole time! :)
