song preview: prowling (night with timber)

i finally started working on the music for this game and now i have 9 tracks???? it went super fast because they're mostly remixes of existing songs so i could just swap out the instruments and whatnot, but i really like this version of timber's theme.

i am using a preset called "electric pick bass 2" as the main thing in all these songs because i couldn't find a piano sound i liked. that's how it is. enjoying the vibe it adds to the game, i'm 99% sure i will be releasing this next mont...

dev diary: cringing at old syrup 2 art

i've been writing so many scenes you guys. i'm so happy the game is coming along again, i feel like i can make it to the end... i mean i'm focusing on making a patron build before i get the steam demo ready, but i keep adding unplanned scenes, AND I CAN'T STOP BECAUSE THEY'RE ALL GOOD!!! but it really got me back in the flow of working on things, so it all feels very easy right now... oh i also switched to being part time at my job LOL so this is pretty much the only thing i'm focused on righ...

waaaaaa i love how the music for this game turned out, so i'm really happy to get to share this with you guys!

dev diary: all the BET console version stuff i couldn't talk about until now

...long title, but there's really not that much to share. mainly i wanted to show off the save icon i made for playstation (pictured above). it's a reference to disgaea 2's iconic save icon with rozalin :)

BAD END THEATER is the second game i've been able to get onto consoles (syrup and the ultimate sweet being the first!) so i wanted to share what it's like getting little indie visual novels onto systems that make it feel like a REAL game....... whatever that means. (it was a real game...
