Trick Comes Home - third build download
Added 2024-04-24 02:54:00 +0000 UTCwahahaWAAHAHAHAHHAHAA the build is here. same as last time, two save files are included for easy access to the alternate ending content--one in chapter 4 and the other in chapter 8. if you've already seen the theater in chapter 4, go ahead and load the chapter 8 save to get the bad end instructions.

the next section of chapter 8! only one illustration is unfinished. this content is patron-only since i like where the previous build leaves off in the story and it's not long enough to be called a full "part 2"... omg splitting this chapter makes talking about it so confusing, i apologize. i like this part of this chapter a lot so i hope you enjoy it too.
BAD END 3 (first half) - this part is included in the public build HEHEHEH
i drew little icons for every item in the game :)
i don't think there were any other noteworthy changes... i'll be releasing the next public update as a "patch" so that people who already played chapter 8 and aren't interested in (or don't know about) the bad ends will skip it. the main fix in this version is the global save feature. i left the "activated" global save in this build actually, and updated the online instructions so you can see what that's like if you want to haha.
WHEW ok there's a lot more left to make for chapter 8 (and those bad endings!) but that's future nami's problem hehe. for now, i'm gonna enjoy my vacation and get some much-needed rest!!! thanks for your support, please enjoy the new stuff!!!!!
UPDATE 4/30/2024 - since i finished a bunch more content from bad end 3 for the public release, i have updated the build here to include all that stuff :) if you played v0.8.5a, PLAY THE NEW ONE..! THERE'S MORE!!!! (bad end only haha)

omg i totally missed your comment before. fullscreen works for me... try both f5 and f6, because one of those changes the resolution. also yeah the system menu breaks if you're working with an old save (the ones i included in the build have this issue) but it works normally from a new file!

2024-04-30 19:16:14 +0000 UTCI liked the new parts of the story here! However, in this latest version, fullscreen doesn't work. When you try to turn it on, the game screen stays the same size, just with a lot of black space around it. That didn't happen in any of the earlier versions! Also, the new 'System' menu doesn't work. You select it, but there aren't any selectable options in it. I don't know if this was a mistake, or if they were just left out to help get this new version out quicker... but you need to watch out for that and make sure that kind of thing doesn't happen to the finished game!
