Added 2023-09-13 20:26:00 +0000 UTCi wrote this song a while back, but it was just chords for a long time. i was too intimidated to make the instrumental, but i suddenly got a burst of courage the other day and made all this in one go!!! the music video was fun to put together too :)
now that i have all this momentum built up, i'm gonna finish the OTHER music video for a song me and jaelights finished back in july (oops!), so you can expect that by friday probably!

Pretty creative video, and very dramatic. The repetition was used well in the lyrics. With song lyrics, you usually need a bit of repetition to help it feel more rhythmic or more elegant, and I think the repetition here helped with that.

2023-09-14 13:38:43 +0000 UTCAaaaaa.... I certainly have an assumption or two on the origin of this song, which!! If those assumptions are correct, hopefully it was cathartic to make this!! Either way, this song's got some very strong but fearful and bitter feelings to it, I think. My own interpretation is that it's about making a decision that gets yourself and others hurt (with an emphasis on one's own harm), but that decision is then judged by random onlookers in some awful way. Which... I mean, if that's wrong, that's kinda embarrassing of me, but that's just what I got outta it after a few listens!! Either way, I suppose this is another song with a rather hopeless ending, like raining, pouring and spiderweb, but sometimes that's very satisfying in one way or another. Congratulations on finishing the song!! Hope refresh'll be full of cathartic emotions, too!!
