September 2019 Catch-Up

It’s been approximately an age since I last checked in here. Life has thrown basically everything it could at me since then. Job loss and extended unemployment, starting a new job, trying to balance freelance work with full-time work and a long commute, mental and physical health issues—you get the idea.
With all that going on, I really struggled to write. I’d start stories and not know how to finish them, or be too burned out to do much beyond tuck things away and wait to be ready to dive in again. And then wait some more. And then play some video games. And wait a little more.
I know myself and that it can take time for me to feel stable and okay again after a major hit like job loss, even once I’m officially back on my feet. I put Patreon aside because I was constantly disappointed in myself for not being able to create and share what I’d made on any kind of regular basis. Thinking about it made it even harder to put stories together. So I let it go for a bit.
Now, though, I’m in a way better position. Everything is coming up Milhouse for once, and I’ve actually found time and brain space to write, which is a huge relief! I fucking LOVE writing this kinky shit and am so glad things are finally flowing again.

And since it’s finally fall and I consider September to be pregame season for Halloween Month, I wrote a delicious spooky story that’ll go up tomorrow.
