I liked the interrogator. He stuck to his word. Whenever that a-hole said, "I don't wish to answer", he said, 'Okay, maybe you wouldn't mind answering this question" and never seemed to try to circle back or trick him. Alek wanted his story and his cause publicized, and couldn't wait to make himself look like a hero, so he was happy to be able to speak his agenda. Stupid dumb-f_c! that he is.

The way the interrogator so nonchalantly says during the introduction "I will be truthful with you so just be honest and truthful with me, that's all I ask" would make me feel like he is not being honest with me right off the bat, because we all know that it isn't always that easy lol. That IS asking a lot in this situation, so you're not building good rapport with me by saying that. I really don't feel like that's an effective part of an introduction and I would not be more inclined to be honest with him after that point, if anything I would feel the opposite.

Today a Swiss citizen can go into a gun store and walk out with a machine gun made this year the same day. Americans can only purchase machine guns made before 1986 and after a years long(most of the time), and a very expensive process. People like jerome prove their incompetence and their inability to be trusted with guns and for that he will be locked away where he belongs. I view him the same way as I view someone who robs a store and kills the clerk. “Why couldn’t you just take the money and leave?” This pharmacist used the situation to play Rambo and whatever other dark thoughts were in his head. The fact that he has a judge tells me a lot. Call me a gun snob but Judges are goofball guns. Some people think they are awesome or powerful because they shoot shotgun shells as well as magnum loads. They are terrible guns for self defense. Who knows, maybe those boys would’ve got the wake up call they needed getting caught for that robbery? He executed that boy and deserves life in prison.

If you watch at 18:20 you can see a solider almost shoot his buddy as he cross walks in front of his muzzle.

Now imagine the circumstances of the first and last case if there were no CCTV cameras to catch the events.

He seems to have no idea that the police can easily look up your army records, watch on the CCTV what happened, listen to exactly what was said etc. and saying they got shots off on you will look odd when only the bullets and shell casings from his guns will be found. The mountain climber portion is from the 'Two Old Ladies' military cadence. Drill leaders often will 'remix' a bunch of different cadence 'songs' together depending often on branch of service or what PT is at the time. Even their mood sometimes will determine which ones they use. My personal favorite from training was Airborne Ranger. It's pretty gruesome, but the melody just made is something special

I'm not sure which branch you're speaking of at 11:04 but I was in the Army and just got out in 2018. We were never required to memorise anything from the Geneva convention. What they did do however was make us memorize and most importantly learn what they call the Army values, which is basically an acronym by the name of LDRSHIP. Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless service, Honor, Integrity and Personal Courage. They take it a step further and define those terms, making them relevant to our situation I.E. Personal Courage is having the courage to do the right thing even when the wrong thing is much easier to do. Another way of interpretation is having the courage to tell those in positions of leadership "No" if an unlawful order is given. Now they did give us a rundown of the Geneva convention, but it was not a requirement to learn it in its entirety, only what's relevant to your position I.E. I was a Medic, so it was drilled into me that no matter what I have a duty to treat a combatant who is injured. That sort of thing came much later after basic training.

CDC is prohibited by Congress using money on studying guns. It's called the Dickey Amendment and it's been in effect since 1996. Whatever stuff you are talking about was too underfunded and small scale to be reliable either way. I'm neutral on this topic, but I'm sure you can find better data to support your argument.

If you would read the study you would find facts aren't on your side or the side of the ergious politico.com. They verifiably do waaay more good than damage. Again just to confirm it was the CDC who done extensive research on this.
