Added 2025-09-25 01:14:12 +0000 UTCHey there! Apologies for the radio silence over the past couple weeks, I've been adjusting to the school year starting and trying to balance some things in life.
That doesn't mean I haven't been working on the mod however. I've got some solid progress made on remaking the 4.0l V8 engine in the BX-Series (obviously 1UZ inspired) and I've got most of the OEM/Stock parts done on the engine. Over the next week or so I'll begin work on the aftermarket parts like forced induction, intakes, headers, etc. but I wanted to show you guys what I've got done so far! So far, the engine has removeable coil covers, removeable timing covers, and a coil on plug conversion that removes the distributors and associated wiring to reveal the cam gears. I plan to have custom cam gears, coil and valve covers, intake manifolds, and everything else you can come to expect on an Ibishu Plus engine. All parts that were available on the old 4.0l are planned to be remade for the new one!
