Eclipse embraces the madness and darkness of death and is sadistic in his methods of manipulating and attacking others. Meanwhile Frost is a frigid masochist, drawing power and rage from a deep core of helplessness. For most of their existence, Frost's mind and soul lie dormant as Eclipse uses their body to commit terrible acts. When Frost is finally freed, he knows neither joy nor sadness, lost with the feeble cry of his forgotten heartbeat.
Neither is necessarily evil, but both are absolutely willing to fight or kill in order to serve a higher purpose. Which begs the question, who should be more feared?
One who embraces madness or one who has nothing left to lose?
