Early Access: Why is Downtown Los Angeles So Small?

I think the topic came from a suggestion on Twitter, and answering that question was fun for me (and hopefully fun for you to watch). This video was helpful for me to process the urban landscape of Southern California. I found the entire trip to be very frustrating. I had plans to film in all of these different locations, but I quickly realized that LA traffic had other ideas. Everything is so FAR in that area and it takes so long to get anywhere. I can only hope that more people in the region start considering downtown LA a great place to live and work. It will probably be impossible to fully change Southern California's land use patterns, but a growing and thriving downtown LA could definitely make it better.
