End of August Update!

1. One month ago I posted a video about Sim City and it quickly became the most popular video on the channel and the first video to blow past the million view mark. Holy cow!
2. That Sim City video made the rounds on blogs and in the media. It was even featured in this very flattering Fast Company article.
3. A record FOUR videos were posted in the last month, a pace I can't keep up but am happy to have accomplished. I'm proud of all of those videos. Your support makes those kind of months possible.
4. Looking ahead, there are four videos I'm working on now: Los Angeles' Old Streetcars, Public Art, and Transfer of Development Rights/Grand Central Station, and Post-Sandy Resiliency Efforts.
5. I will be in New York City next week filming for three of those videos (not the LA one, obvs). I can't wait to be back in the Big Apple and this will be my first time shooting videos there!
6. I will be scheduling a video chat for September for the Town-level ($5) Patrons and above. Stay tuned for details. I may do the video chat as a trial run for YouTube live streaming. I'd love to do more live streams in the future!

I’m especially looking forward to your piece on public art. I got in an entire conversation today about my favorite art on a Traction Power SubStation for our light rail in Phoenix and it was so exciting when the person was like, “I love that one too!” I was thrilled to realize others enjoy public art in the city, even an oddball on a TPSS. :)
