2025-04-26 23:36:26 +0000 UTCOh, so... so is the idea that the contrast is between how Miles' earlier relationship with Rachel HAD to be emotional because it couldn't be physical without being intensely weird and his current relationship with Tate WANTS to only be physical but it's becoming emotional? Is that the... Wait, no, that doesn't really make sense either, since that whole hitch with Rachel doesn't actually *mean* anything. Is there anything except 'Miles is hot, wouldn't you want to have a BF this hot?' Even in the most porn-forward romance books there's usually something more to the fantasy than that. At least make him a pirate or something. EDIT: Hell, has him being a pilot even come up for any meaningful reason? That's ripe for the getaway-fantasy aspect but she just sits around in town all day thinking about Miles until it's Miles Time.
