Chapter 586 - Not Noname

POV Brainiac

He is gone in a blink without me being able to track him. No movement of mana, no vibrations sent through the air. Something I even started noticing with Tacita at times is not even slightly present here.

I hear shouts and look back to see Noname now standing in front of the door with his hand on the white palm symbol. The door starts shaking, dust and dirt falling off the edges as it opens to reveal a similar room. Inside, a single person stands on a small island surrounded by pale blue water that glows. The huge, square room has the same gray walls, but this time, three massive black doors marked with white palms.

Symbols cover the area, painted in subtly different shades of black, along with other markings that likely hint at which door to open next.

The person standing on the island floats into the air, and translucent bird-like wings glow behind her. Her skin is slightly grayish, the same as all of the avatars, and her face holds that empty expression. I recognize her as a Beyonder—one of the top three from the second round.

Noname and the woman disappear from my sight again, only for both of them to crash against the ceiling. The wings on the avatar's back change and turn into dozens of long arms that reach toward Noname, who pins her against the ceiling, neither of them falling, as if unaffected by gravity. All of those arms freeze mid-air and the woman's head bursts open before she disappears into blue particles.

I can barely keep up as Noname suddenly reappears on the ground, right by the first door. He opens it without a single damn concern for traps or whether it’s even the right one. Then the mana obsessed buffoon with, why the fuck not, white hair, does the same to the remaining two doors, and all of them start to open at once.

One of the doors reveals a cluster of fifty attendees, all trapped within the blazing ring of a firewall. The others swing open to reveal rooms packed with avatars, easily a hundred in each.

From where I stand, I can already feel the pressure radiating from Noname like a tidal wave. Then he moves. No hesitation. No pause. He charges straight in, ripping through them like paper, completely unfazed by Hell difficulty or by their numbers.

***

POV Rafael Vaughn - Channeler

The room is massive, enclosed by the same four gray walls as the last, but this time we're standing on a vast grassy field. Towering pillars, each as thick as a sequoia, stretch upward, nearly touching the ceiling.

Two avatars face us, walking toward us at a steady pace. CarrotCake and Klara, both of them winners of their first tournaments.

All five Hell difficulty fighters on our side are already down, and the rest of us can only watch and wait for it to be over. The two avatars, on the other hand, remain completely untouched.

Then a huge door to the right opens slowly, and a single figure steps through the massive entrance.

The white hair and red eyes are the first things I notice. Then comes the expression—strange enough to throw me off, just long enough for the realization to hit me too late.

I know that person.

Nathaniel Gwyn does not wear his usual calm, distant expression. Instead, he is smiling with a strange, eager intensity. Even his movements are different. Every shift of his body sends a warning straight to the primitive part of my brain. There's a predatory energy in the way he moves, something sharp and unnatural. It feels wrong like no one should be able to move like that.

There is no crown, no mana, no projectiles, no orbs, no golden flames. Nathaniel simply steps into the room without deploying any of his usual countermeasures, even though he must know he is up against two of the very best physical fighters in Earth's tutorial.

And he attacks first.

I do not see any movement, but out of nowhere he stands in front of me and CarrotCake is gone. Then Klara disappears as well. A split second later, two of the pillars explode as their bodies crash against them.

"Damn, I knew his output is high, but what is this shit?" Nathaniel says.

The voice is the same, but the tone, pronunciation, and rhythm are very different. When he turns to me and I see those red eyes, I confirm that it is not Nathaniel, but someone else.

"I know he kept comparing us, but I'm more handsome than you," he says after examining my face.

From where the pillars exploded a pair of shockwaves are sent and both Klara and CarrotCake appear in the air in front of him, stopped the mid attack as if held there by an invisible force. CarrotCake is mid-punch and Klara is swinging the gladius she holds.

Nathaniel moves with a speed I can’t even begin to follow. One moment he’s there, the next he’s already by two Beyonders, striking before they can react. The moment they clash, all of them burst into motion and the space around them erupts with force.

The two avatars and Nathaniel vanish without warning, only to reappear seconds later in a blur of motion, then vanish again before anyone can react. Their battle rages across the entire field, too fast to follow, too violent to contain. Pillars as thick as trees are shattered like glass in their wake. The ground is torn apart, ripped open by stray blows.

Even the attendees caught near their clashes don’t stand a chance, some are killed outright, reduced to nothing just for being too close.

It all happens in just a few seconds. Then Nathaniel is standing beside me, the gladius Klara once held now resting casually on his shoulder. She’s gone with no trace of her left.

Only CarrotCake’s avatar emerges from the smoke. One arm is missing, his body torn through with holes, and half his face is nothing but blood and ruin. But he walks forward without hesitation, each step heavy enough to make the air around him hum.

"Do you like it, you asshole?! It's not fun if someone doesn't use mana, right?" Nathaniel shouts at the avatar. Then he vanishes again, leaving only the echo behind.

For a split second, I catch sight of Nathaniel standing right in front of CarrotCake. In one smooth, brutal motion, he slams the flat of Klara's gladius against CarrotCake’s chest, unleashing a shockwave that sends me tumbling until I crash into a tree.

I lift my head with the taste of blood thick in my mouth. Nathaniel is already gone, leaving no trace behind. CarrotCake’s avatar remains standing for a moment longer, chest ripped open and heart completely destroyed. Then he collapses. His form unravels and dissolves into streams of pale blue particles, rising into the air before scattering like fading embers.

***

POV Samuel

The room we’re in is filled with motion-activated traps. Even the slightest movement causes mana to gather around the crystal floating high above, and a crystal projectile shoots out almost instantly. I saw one pierce straight through the barrier of a Hell difficulty attendee from the first round, and another break through the shield of a Beyonder from the eighth round, even though it was an upper epic shield.

Even talking isn’t allowed. Fortunately, a few of the remaining Hell difficulty attendees, like me, have noticed the inscriptions etched into the stone floor and are channeling their mana into them.

As in the previous rooms, this one must also have a solution; we just need to proceed carefully. But I have a strong suspicion that if you find a solution, it will apply only to you and exclude you from movement tracking. I suspect this because even the avatars here with us stand unmoving, doing the same thing we do.

At this point, it is a race to see who regains the ability to move first.

This does not mean there are no fights. The avatars and attendees use their primordial energies or skills that do not require movement and keep throwing attacks at each other. Both sides are defending and attacking.

That's when Noname appears in the middle of the room between two fighting factions. For some reason, his hair is white and his eyes are dark red.

"Damn, what a bunch of losers," he says simply.

Three crystal projectiles shoot at him, only to freeze mid-movement before they pierce his body. He tilts his head with curiosity, and three more shoot, all of them stopping in the same way, just an arm's reach away from him.

He moves and touches the tip of one of the crystal projectiles, and each movement causes more and more projectiles to be shot at him as dozens of them start collecting around him.

Taking one of these crystals into his hand, he twists his body and throws it. The crystal projectile disappears from my sight, leaving just a blur in its wake.

One of the avatars crashes against the wall, a crystal stabbed through his chest. That movement causes a few more projectiles to form and hit him on the ground, turning him into fine particles.

Around Noname, there are already dozens of crystal projectiles, and he snickers deviously, taking them out of the air and throwing them at the avatars. Beyonders, Hell difficulty, even Easy difficulty ones, he does not leave anyone out and clears out the room.

He disappears, and the rain of projectiles trails in his wake, slamming against the ground but too slow to catch up. The next time I see him, he puts his arm onto the white glowing palm on the huge wooden door that starts opening.

Before he leaves, he turns back, and I can feel his red eyes locked on me. Around him, a hundred crystal projectiles hang frozen in the air, with more forming every time he moves. He mouths something I can’t hear, and an invisible force pushes against me just enough to make me stumble.

The last thing I see is a dozen crystals speeding toward me from the crystal floating high above. A moment later, I find myself outside, in the common area.

I glance over the area at the crowds already outside the event, watching the screens. Some of my men are already here as planned, the ones who gave up on the event early just to record the fourth event using the cameras we set up.

"How’s it going?" I ask as I step up to one of them.

"It’s a mess. We haven’t been able to locate that silver-haired woman yet, but Noname is on a rampage. He has already hunted down dozens of Hell difficulty avatars and several tournament winners. We also tried to track Victoria, but just like during the previous event, she is holding herself back. It’s tough to properly estimate her abilities."

"Continue then," I tell him and move to my spot to watch the screens.

On them, I see Noname tearing through another room, jumping off the walls to dodge attacks and tanking close-range hits from a physically powerful avatar.

I remember the time his mana destabilized in the common area and wiped out hundreds of attendees. And I wonder if someone like him should even be allowed on Earth.

But at this point, I have to ask myself if there is anyone who can stop him.

***

POV Sophie Martinez

I have seen Nathaniel fight multiple times, and over time I have come to agree with something he himself and many others say. Nathaniel is not one of the most talented ones; he is not a genius like Savant, Tess, or Tacita.

Still, out of everyone I meet, out of every attendee, he is someone I want to mess with the least. The guy is harder to kill than a cockroach, and his mana output only seems to increase as the fight progresses instead of him getting tired or running out of resources.

There is just too much bullshit he throws around. The last fight against Absolute Candidate Ruby was proof of that. That red-haired woman was also one of these talented fighters and beat the shit out of him for most of the fight, but in the end, he still technically won by dying that split of a second later.

I saw the expressions of people in the common area during that fight, as well as the reactions of spies from other rounds, and it is obvious that the countermeasures they will prepare against him will increase in number.

To put it simply, Nathaniel is someone I absolutely do not want to fight or have as an enemy.

Yet here I am, standing against his avatar.

Our group of one hundred attendees is positioned across the massive square room. It has the same gray walls and a red ceiling lit by white crystals. The rest of the enormous space is filled with buildings reminiscent of those the lynthari on the fourth floor used to build. There is even a fountain in the center, and the area is large enough to host a small city.

There are four beyonders I know: Kang Jiwon from the 10th round, some girl from Victoria's round, Leticia, Luna, and one more guy from Jean's round. Then we have 10 Hell difficulty attendees and I don't even bother counting the lower difficulties.

It could be said that the collection of people here is impressive.

Still, Leticia by my side whispers, "Should we run?"

Luna, beside us, growls, now at the largest size I have ever seen this golden retriever reach. Her fur stands on end, and her massive teeth are bared.

I look in the direction Leticia is looking.

Nathaniel's avatar hovers in mid-air. A pale blue crown floats above his head, and the gray tones of his form make the crown's glow and the golden circles around his pupils stand out even more.

Leticia grabs my arm. "Why’s he not moving?"

He really isn't. Nathaniel's avatar just floats there, dead center of the battlefield, with no attacks, no skill activations, nothing. And yet everyone feels it; the air thickens, and the ground trembles under our feet despite the lack of movement.

I swear I saw Kang Jiwon take half a step back. Just half. Enough to mean something.

His crown pulses once and mana rises up around him. Someone shouts and defenses fire up and activate. Left with no other choice, I activate what I have prepared and stack it up around us, and prepare to fight.

My attempt to pierce into his mind is deflected as if I had slammed into a steel wall.

Again, pressure around him increases.

Ten people disappear. No screams, no impact, just gone, vaporized, or maybe something worse.

Luna lunges forward before I can react. She vanishes.

Leticia shouts and attacks. And all I can do is reach for mana and hope the next attack isn't for me.

“There are four beyonders I know: Kang Jiwon from the 10th round, some girl from Victoria's round, Leticia, Luna, and one more guy from Jean's round. Then we have 10 Hell difficulty attendees and I don't even bother counting the lower difficulties.” is this not 5 beyonders?

Can we all appreciate how well set up this is? Having Whitey go all out with Nat turning his mana into kinetic energy is awesome. And Nat’s avatar sounds like a powerhouse, fighting differently than Nat would it seems. It would ofc be cool if Nat did the challenge too, but having him fight himself wouldn’t be as cool as having Lathaniel fight his avatar. And Lat obliterating everything, a fun read.

Tom Hammer

Big JJK energy in this chapter. Whitey is basically Sukuna taking over his host's body and just going on a Merry Little Rampage

Brotato

The System is pretty strict about this kind of thing. Even Lioren's ghost of an existence was only made possible because several Rulers combined their authority to loosen the systems rules in a very limited way. Anything beyond that is impossible due to system limitations. If it wasn't for that, then perhaps Liss might be persuaded to copy his mind into a mana stone, but as it is, Lioren has no future. He is similar to Clonethaniel in that way. His existence has a system programmed hard limit. Maybe if all 14 Rulers agreed to combine their powers to make it happen, then it might be possible, but why would they? Most don't like eachother. Convincing them to cooperate to ressurect some random nobody who has been dead for probably over 100 years would be wild. TLDR: It's just not going to happen.

Zaim İpek

I dunno. Lots people saying he's not the most "talented" in the sense of maybe him not being able to just get things without trying on first try and coasting by ( at least I think ), but in terms of "growth rate", so far he's been unmatched by any shown in the series, so like depending on how you want to think about talent, he might be the most talented or talent itself is not the most important thing you need to pull ahead in this world. Whatever that most important thing is, he has it more than any other attendee however. To me, that just sounds like talent though.

Madje Tobi Marc'Avent Tchona

I mean, if he wants to get technical, Whitey is part of him. He’s simply using his complete arsenal

Josh Cothran

The way Ruby worded her answer to Nat read as a very strong hint that there is a way.

Sedjet

1, he's not skilled enough. 2, The rulers "patched" it.

Sedjet

Nat being an OG in this!! Legendary chap.

Abhishek

Can someone explain to me why he can't put Whitney into a stone like lissandra did with herself in the early chapters? I think a reason was given but I can't recall

P K

True, but would kinda be fun if she is impressed with how is avatar fights, assuming the avatar is fighting with nats knowledge, that avatar is legit vaporisering beyonders Also I quietly wonder if Whitney wins vs. Nata avatar or if nat makes a mental implant like how lissandra did in the early floors to get Whitney at least a body for the rest of the tutorial

P K

Thank you for the chappie! Whitey having as much output as Nat does is scary, it also really hammers down the fact that Nat isn’t the most talented.

Kirin

Earth’s tutorial just got blessed by the legend of whitey and why he’s so feared in beyond’s first floor. I still remember when whitey was first introduced and reading this chapter felt like a deja vu to that chapter. Lurker whitey really does fight the same as OG whitey lol just a couple of levels below. Everybody just freezing and not one fucker can do anything about it.

ramir

Oh yeah that's a good point. He's been weirdly jealous(totally not jealous)of that skill lol

D Pryor

Multiple arcane items i imagine. He will probably find another broken method like how he did with the sand

Memelord Steambath

Would we be able to get a character encyclopedia? I might need it with all these new rounds

Memelord Steambath

Knowing bitchsandra this won’t count as Nate winning the round because Whitey did all the work

Josh Cothran

I think it's more like him copying [DAWN] manna radiation and pressure

Anthony Duenas

Just like ruby. One of the best things this book does right is not ignore side characters. Myrra, the rest of the group, hell even biscuit gets enough depth to make them feel like MC'S in their own story. The only one who hasn't been flushed out is savant, but from how the books have been going. We've got time.

RnR_ RnR

As for the pairing, I think envy will be leaning hard on the scales. For channeler, I think it's going to be even bigger. Like an artificial mana heart or something like that. With lily's help it would be easy for him.

RnR_ RnR

God yes that's funny to think about

Corac

Finally all caught up on the story! Shame that there isn’t a way for Nat to cheat the system for Whitey. Was hoping Nat figured out something like if he got ahold of Whitey’s animated corpse maybe he could transfer the memories into it into a undead revenant or something! Before the tournament ends will Nat craft an Arcane item to sell on the auction? He’s gotta asset his dominance among the crafters!!

Maniac000

W Lioren. A great character.

SirWins

Well... yes also I wonder if the paired planets spys will be scared shitless when Nat and his gang return.. I doubt the system would be so unfair as to pair earth with a planet that has several champions. At most 1 champion maybe 1 champion and 1 adjacent champion candiate. I wonder how broken Nat and his gang will become by the end of the tutorial. Also any idea what he will gift Channeler as his item? I was thinking a power armour... but I don't think Channeler would have the nesearry amount of mana to move it... so maybe an "omnitool" that can change form to serve a desired purpose like shield or weapon?

Ansordia

If anything that might anger him instead of being apathic... which is 100% worse... best to leave him alone and if he asks for something to give it to him. Also if you touch anyone close to him... you best FUCKING pray that you can get him aswell before he knows what you did.

Ansordia

Really vibes besides the very end, Nathaniel's avatar is straight up deleting beyond attendees, that goes hard af

P K

Oh they for sure will take notes after the fact, they're also recording with cameras remember, but I think what they care more about is getting as much info as to what goes on between the ears. I'm looking forward to them having to explain to earth that no, they can't just shoot him and be done with it, and show them this footage, while they try to explain how crazy what he's doing is

P K

Lathanial and Nathanial’s avatar are going to pubstomp 🤌🏾 Chefs kiss this was a pleasure to read. Can’t wait for a finally battle between them and Liss potentially 👀

CJ Tamberella

myra??? kindness you mean?...thats my theory anyway

RingoSeto

Wouldn't Samuel's group pay more attention to the Avatars? It's been stated that the Avatars are sort of an example of what a tutorial entity can do without holding back at all and having only the goal of winning without personality or emotions. Sounds like a great baseline for recon for just powers at least. No hiding powers or holding back.

Derek

Agree that this segment with Whitey is absolutely beautiful writing….can the space shuttle goodbye scene be any better - then, this….well done Cerim!❤️🫵

M Schweibold

Whitey going straight frank castle on everyone is peak. The pov change is well done and I feel like after this tournament roachsandra will declare him an absolute candidate. Not chapter related but the introduction of "players" into the world is so incredibly refreshing. The government has no idea what they are in for when hard level players get there let alone hell/beyond. They will be like living Gods.

RnR_ RnR

I kinda wanna see whitey fight nats avatar

Death56

Maybe used the difficulty change token?

DocSmitty

You think that beyond difficulty attendees just straight up disappearing is weak?

SqrlyGrly

Roachthaniel Vs Roachsandra!

RJ

Seeing Whitey blitz Jean, who is the one Nat struggles the most with (due to being an anti mana strongman) was sweet. If Nat can keep even half of Whitey's kinetic knowledge he will be fully rounded out.

WhiteLeeopard

I absolutely LOVE this chapter. There is the great chance to see our main character from the other povs. The bittersweet of seeing Whitey's last hurrah. Also seeing that all those from other rounds who began this tournament believing themselves to be at the top are all realising that there is someone they can't catch up to. Samuel seems to be blind to one of the lessons of the tutorial: monsters are scary, but if you have no monsters on your side what do you do when the other side arrives with monsters of their own?

WhiteLeeopard

I have a suspicion the avatar is using [Ley Line] to teleport them into a volcano or some shit

13L00D13ANE

Ugh I need more. MOREEEEE

Al

This is very well written. Jumping through POVs in one chapter is always tricky - it's hard to make them sound different so it does not feel like it's just one person speaking. In this chapter the main differences come from what the POV character can perceive and you did this quite tidy - going from easy difficulty attendee to someone from Hell - a beyonder. These cognitive differences portrayed in writing made enough difference so it feels fresh and varied, at the same time achieving a sort of crescendo effect - attendees see more and more as we read through the chapter. I also love the narrative choice of not putting Nat at the helm this chapter - it makes sense considering he somehow transplanted Whiteys consciousness into his body - he took a backseat and it leaves the readers wondering what happened to him after the transformation - will he come back? How will he come back? We already know he will, but how? What happened to him? This is a lovely game that you play here with a reader. This also gave the readers an opportunity to see how others perceive what Nat is doing - how alien it is. I applaud the choice to SHOW this, not tell. Telling would be characters telling Nat that he looks like an alien, etc. Or character recollecting previous bouts. The way you did it in this chapter is different. You put into writing thoughts of other characters while in the middle of the fight, while facing Nat - feel his fighting prowess as an indifferent environmental cataclysm. As a tsunami of power people are helpless to defend against. This is good writing, my dude. The trick with these different POVs is not to overuse them - constant jumping, switching contexts can become tiresome for the reader. It's a balancing act and this is what makes writing an art, not only a craft. So far I missed the different POVs (except the ones from Earth - I actually avoid them actively or skip read through them because they don't bring anything to the main story - they can be safely edited out and nothing changes in Nat's journey), and I am happy you put them here. I also have to say I am impressed with the goodbye arc for Whitey. You have a peculiar way of writing about Nat's feelings in the sense you don't write almost any of them. There is anger - there is a lot of anger often, some anxiety, briefly, sometimes fear. I would expect sadness when Nat says his goodbyes to Whitey, but you didn't write about it. Instead we get this beautiful imagery of Nat and Whitey in space, nostalgic dialogue, the last hurrah. There is no sadness. I assume Nat hates good byes :) He doesn't do sadness well, maybe he is blind to this part of his emotional landscape - it is all possible. I love the choices you made there, it makes so much sense for a character that constantly struggles to connect with their emotions. All in all - nicely done with this chapter. i have just one minor gripe with it - I know it's hard to publish a novel piece-wise - it messes so much with pacing, but I have this gripe with this chapter. It starts strong and continues with the crescendo I mentioned, which to me culminates in Samuel's POV and then we get a sort of a whimper at the end. The chapter would hit stronger if you ended it right there, with maybe a sentence about Nat's avatar. Instead we got several lengthy paragraphs that cooled the action down very much and then we get a prelude to what will happen in the next chapter - I assume this was meant as a sort of cliffhanger and it works well as such. It just doesn't gel well with the how the rest of the chapter pans out.

Konrad Pagacz

I disagree. You save who you can save. Just accepting death feels wrong. Ya steal from the reaper whatever you can get away with. Edit: Death is unfair. Willingly submitting to it's mercurial decisions makes no sense to me. I don't know if Whitey is doomed to be a past tense, but I sure as heck won't be calling for his head just because I think his death is better for the story.

JJB4345_80_815

This so much! It is sad, but the dead are dead and to break the cycle of life makes it so there are no stakes and no real pressure. And also no closure on anything, as anyone that is defeated can return again. The story must move forward, losing allies and enemies alike. All I hope is we meet the real Myrra outside.

WhiteLeeopard

Maybe Lissandra hunted and killed her own avatar?

WhiteLeeopard

Samuel pov, second paragraph. 'Hell difficulty attendees, like me' . You could read this as him being in hell now.

blaw

Bro the avatar version of Nat is just banishing people to the shadow realm by aura alone?? Lool. Also I’m loving the feel of Whitey against everyone else from the tournament. They just are not ready. Also love Whitey going “lol this output is bullshit” while in Nat’s body

Subliminary

With the way they're just vanishing it seems similar to the mana blast he obliterated Witherclaw with, just downscaled a lot because they ain't Witherclaw

Moonfrost

Is there an avatar of Lissandra, the information said avatar of everyone who enters so i assume there might be an option to not?

Doleo

M-maybe

anonymous patreon

Wooooo! Yes! Thanks! Can't wait for the next chappie. Love all those POVs.

Ivan Jelenić

Is the avatar doing what they call aura farming?

Leyphelio

Now it's gonna be Avatar Nat vs Whitey Nat. Is there another level to this patreon so we can read ahead???

Claro reyes

Exactly. From the very start we knew he was going to die. Even Lis didnt make it over multiple attempts in past tutorials. Letting him go out with a bang is the best sendoff he can have

Im the smallest peach

Just the pressure of his mana should be enough to kill most attendees, even more so if he focuses all the pressure in small groups

Kelto

Danks fur da chappie!

Funny guy

Easy difficulty: so add white hair and red eyes to his card. Normal difficulty: I think he was smiling? Hard difficulty: holy crap he’s faster than taci. Hell and beyond (who could somewhat actually see what was going on): WTF!!!

Oaktree

Sweet 🙂👍 Nathaniel aka Whitey and his avatar are unstopable. Can’t wait when they will fight each other. This will be epic and also very valuable experience for Nat observing everything from the mind perspective.

Adrian Rake

TFTC!!!

This chapter vaporized T_T moar

Budgie

Where does it say that Samuel is in Hell difficulty?

Isaac Lung

Thanks for the chapter

BlackRazaras

Love whitey owning everything but nat bot deleting anyone who enters his room is icing on the cake. Also all you people who hope whitey is saved miss the point of his character, he already lived and sadly the system shouldn't allow him to be revived. Death has to mean something in great books. One reason I lov this book, red rising and storm light archives.

Val the mysterious Jedi

Samuel is only hard but he is supposed to represent that group and also the military people who will keep order hell and above are the kings/gods but they alone won't be able to control/protect a whole plnet let alone a continent

Val the mysterious Jedi

Good catch, I was going to post the same thing. Samuel is Hard, not Hell.

John Anastacio

Wonder what this attack. Mana domain and tyrant? Something similar to domain training he did with the absolute back in 5th?

D Pryor

Thanks for the chapter and then will be nat vs white demon

Lestrat Shadow

Fucking great

Dregos

Maybe Nat managed to take over his Avatar after leaving his body to whitey, and now they have the same base stats and energy output. Now only their mastery over their energys will make the difference?

Tsorov

I've a question: isn't Samuel in Hard Difficulty? I feel like that's a change that doesn't make any sense, his only remarkable feature was being the self-important leader of a bunch of battle-hardened but otherwise meaningless soldiers who certainly weren't all at Hell's level in terms of potential, plus there was that entire thing between him and Tess where she pointed out someone not even in Hell wouldn't play any meaningful role on Earth

max grok

Mana obsessed buffoon is now in the top ten nicknames for nat.
