2020-05-25 12:00:42 +0000 UTCHmm, no one in pop comes to mind but I believe it's told in story and song that Horowitz himself was obsessed with Art Tatum, and that in terms of technique and those "string of pearls" runs that Horowitz was famous for Tatum certainly matches him.
